i ended a date last night over disagreements on the clancy decision honestly, i think i had every right to walk out he picked me up, brought me flowers, took me to my favorite restaurant and we proceeded to discuss politics, religion, what we want in the future and more. we basically agreed on everything. i’ve actually never met someone who more closely shares my world view suddenly, the conversation shifted to the mistrial of lindsay clancy i said it was so brave what that juror did, and that he deserved a presidential medal of freedom. he said, while he agrees that she should be convicted, that we as a country need to invest more into postpartum mental health resources to prevent things like this from happening. he said the pain of childbirth and what women go through is so difficult, and that he would have sympathy for me if we ever had kids, and he would support me 100p i replied that that’s a ridiculous viewpoint. new mothers are dangerous and don’t deserve support or sympathy. in fact, i went on to tell him my opinion: i believe that all women after childbirth should be institutionalized for NO LESS than 6 months, but ideally 3 years in order to make sure that they can be trusted around their children. i hope President Trump will sign an executive order codifying that into law; it is the least we can do for the most vulnerable in our society (the children) he respectfully disagreed, but said he understood my passion given the horror of lindsay clancy’s actions. TOO LATE! you’ve exposed yourself as someone who believes that women can be trusted i need a man that understands that i am not a rational creature. he needs to make all the decisions, and make sure our kids are protected from me and my hormones until i can prove that i am a safe presence in the house oh well. my journey continues. i know that man is out there somewhere who will agree with me. until then, ill keep fighting the fight ✊
