YES YES YES YES!!!! I always say this! (Especiallllyyyyy in regards to MaM 😬)

When Netflix presents a crime “documentary”, its use of camera angles & editing of statements, is skillfully mingled with music.
The result is to elicit an emotional response. It is to persuade, not to “document” the crime.
Once emotionally impacted, an opinion is formed that can impede critical thinking.
Music is powerful. Note the use of crescendo as well as foreboding or sad portions, and whose face is shown during these scenes.

Imagining how beautiful it will be once my loved ones are gathered around it tomorrow ❤️❤️🎄 Merry Christmas to all
Thank you everyone for reaching out. I evacuated out of Florida but I hope I come home to a house at all 😩😩 It’s that red pin on the island in the eye of Milton 😩😩😩 I thinks it’s moving South though. Praying for everyone
I’m evacuating our island right now with the babies and this is my street to get off. We still are destroyed from Helene, & this one will actually be a DIRECT hit. They are doing police convoys to try to get this debris over our bridge asap. Last week we had to get back by boat🙏🏻
The fact that the families of cases I have covered years ago still reach out to me when I am going through troubles (2 hurricanes in 2 weeks) means everything to me. With a MURDER trial looming, they still think of me too ❤️🩹❤️🩹 This is why I will always #StandWithTheBallards 🙏🏻💜

When we finally start prosecuting stalking the way we now prosecute domestic violence ( i.e. a conviction can seriously impact you) and when we prosecute DV the way we prosecute rape, and when we prosecute rape the way we prosecute murder, we will all be better off

Happiest Birthday to the one who always gives the best birthday wishes 💞💞 I’ve got nothing clever to offer- but a bunch of good photos of us. You’re the best! Love you so! @JoshMankiewicz
Also worth mentioning: Every 2 weeks I get 1 hour away from my baby twins to lay down in peace & get my lashes done. Today I spent that hour listening to an old @DatelineNBC of yours on my headphones (Stone Cold) before I even realized it was your birthday. So I spent it w/ u! 🥰
