People say the bittersweet of #Malfoid doesn’t work. I don’t think it works as an ending, but bittersweet along the way, I can get with that. Harry and Draconia want a baby immediately after defeating Voldemort. But it doesn’t happen immediately. Draconian wonders what’s wrong. She wants to talk to the healers and see if there was something to help her get pregnant. The healers break the bad news. That due to one of the cursed scars across her stomach, Draconia can’t get pregnant. It couldn’t be. She shouted at them, telling them they have made a mistake. But they tell her there is no way she could bear a child. Harry was devastated with the news. Draconia refused to give up. Lucius put his money into finding someone who could fix it. But in truth, there was no one. Even after going to the Salem Witch’s Institute in America, there was no known cure. Draconia was devastated. She told Harry he would be better off without her. Harry told her to never say that again. That he would be with her regardless or anything. Any sadness. Any pain. He would stay by her side. They looked at her scars, and Harry apologized again and again for it. But Draconia told him the scars tell their story. A month later. Draconia winds up becoming sick, and she can’t stop vomiting. She wanted to go to the healers but Harry suggested they go to a muggle doctor. Draconia said fine, but if they were going to do “surgery” on her, she would hex everyone. Harry laughed and set up the appointment. The doctor asks for their symptoms, and Draconia tells them. The doctor said it sounds like she was pregnant. Draconia shouted at her and told her she couldn’t get pregnant and not to get her hopes up. Harry asked her to just take the test, as they had nothing to lose, and would still have each other. Draconia took the test, and it said it in plain English: Pregnant. Draconia couldn’t believe it. She said it must be wrong. She told them their doo-hockey must be malfunctioning, and said every healer from London to St. Petersburg said she couldn’t get pregnant. The doctor just asked to take an ultrasound to confirm. Draconia didn’t want to do it, saying these muggle contraptions must be wrong. But Harry kissed her hand and asked her to try it, and for Draconia she had a difficult time , as if this time they said she couldn’t get pregnant, she will have lost all hope. She ultimately agreed. Draconia lay on the table, waiting as they put the ultrasound fluid on. They showed the image. The sound that left her mouth. Pure jubilation. She cried in Harry’s chest. She was 17 weeks pregnant. They were going to have a baby. Harry and Draconia didn’t understand. The healers didnt even try. They just told them love was the best magic. They went on to have nine children total, and to this day, they healers couldn’t explain it.

Jalen Hurts played a full NFL game in London with a blood clot in his calf, and the doctors who cleared him made that call because running around on it was safer than sitting still. The eight-hour flight home was the part they were worried about. By Wednesday night, the clot had moved. It comes down to how blood gets out of your legs. Pushing blood down to your feet is easy for the heart. Getting it back up means fighting gravity, and your calf does most of that work. Every contraction squeezes the veins running through the muscle and pushes blood upward past a chain of one-way valves, which is why vascular doctors call the calf your second heart. Clots tend to form where a damaged vein meets blood that's sitting still, and a Rams cleat supplied the damage on October 4th. He practiced in full that Wednesday and Thursday, then asked for treatment on the calf, and the team flew to London. A Saturday ultrasound found a superficial clot. The Eagles' staff and doctors in London reviewed it and decided activity and mobility mattered most, so the medical plan for a blood clot in a quarterback's calf was to go play quarterback. Then came roughly eight hours in an airplane seat over the Atlantic. Doctors had already asked for a follow-up ultrasound within 72 hours of the game and the flight back, which tells you exactly which part of the trip they feared. The World Health Organization's travel study found that sitting still for four hours or more roughly doubles your risk of a clot in your veins, and the elevated risk hangs around for about four weeks, so back-to-back flights stack. For a healthy traveler the absolute odds are small, around 1 in 6,000. Hurts boarded two transatlantic flights inside of a week with an injured vein. "Superficial" sounds reassuring, and mostly it is. Those veins sit right under the skin. The deep veins run through the muscle and drain toward the heart and lungs, and that's where clots turn dangerous. In a French study of 844 patients with superficial clots, about 1 in 4 already had a deep clot or a clot in the lung at diagnosis. A separate study tracking 263 patients found 11% saw the clot spread into the deep system. So "movement" is the one word in that statement that took him off the field. The treatment may end up setting his timeline more than the clot does. Blood thinners are the standard answer, and doctors generally keep contact athletes off the field while they're on them, because a routine hit can turn into internal bleeding. Chris Bosh went through this back in 2015. His clot started as what looked like a calf strain, took about two months to diagnose, and reached his lung. He missed Miami's final 30 games that season. A second leg clot a year later put him back on blood thinners, and he never played another NBA game. Hurts got an ultrasound six days after the hit and a second one three days after the game. He's sitting out Sunday because somebody in London insisted on checking twice.

Sirius: "Narcissa. What an unpleasant surprise." Narcissa: "Sirius. Good to see prison didn't dampen your spirits or improve your sense of humor." Sirius: "You never could appreciate genius." Narcissa: "Is that what they call the Armpit Fart Charm?" Sirius: "You must admit, it was very entertaining." Narcissa: "Lucius never forgave you for it." Sirius: "Well, given he burned several Muggle houses with their occupants still inside, I dare say his ledger is far worse than mine." Narcissa: "... I suppose so." Sirius: "... Huh?" Narcissa: "Sirius... I hear you've been trying to get Potter with my daughter." Sirius: "What business is it of yours?" Narcissa: "As much as I hate to admit it, you are the heir to the Black estates. Or what's left of them." Sirius: "And Harry is my heir after that. What's your point?" Narcissa: "My point is that we both have a vested interest in Harry's survival, do we not?" Sirius: "What, so you can get your hands on the estates when you marry Malfoid off to Harry?" Narcissa: "Ugh, no you simpleton... So my daughter and your godson can be happy... And well provided for." Sirius: "... Narcissa, are you saying that you actually want them to be married and happy?" Narcissa: "Happiness is all I've ever wanted for my daughter, Sirius. So let me make myself plainly understood: Do everything in your power to ensure Harry and my daughter get together. I will do the same." Sirius: "What about Lucius?" Narcissa: "What about him?" Sirius: "... See, if you were more like this back in school I wouldn't have pranked you so much." Narcissa: "Can't you ever be-" Sirius: *grins* Narcissa: "... You almost got me." Sirius: "Haha! Next time then, Cissy." Narcissa: "Ugh. Don't call me that." Sirius: "Too bad, I'm gonna."

Now it’s said that the models in series 1 were loosely based on CRD’s illustrations. So it’s possible that the models for duck, Donald, Douglas and so on were based on the illustrations by JTK and G&P Edward’s. Just with a few changes to them of course

10 takeaways from LeBron’s 76ers debut: 1. LeBron with his hand on the joystick of the offense is going to be cinematic and highly productive 2. Maxey will be just fine playing off the ball a lot more than he’s been able to in seasons past 3. Brown will be a great innings eater in the lineups where he’s the primary scoring option and creator 4. Embiid was definitely all out of sorts tonight, but I’m not worried as he’s proven to be a huge ramp up and rhythm guy 5. VJ is going to be a great WR to LeBron’s QB as long as he continues to run the floor 6. Rebounding will have to be a huge point of emphasis personnel wise and/or committee wise, as it is a clear weakness 7. Jabari Walker may very well find himself a rotation spot if he continues this scrappy defensive play-finishing with his rebounding, and maintains the promising shooting we’ve seen 8. Sixers will badly need Bona and Barlow’s size and activity on both sides of the ball 9. An underrated connection to watch for all season long is the LeBron/Dean Wade one, as you can already tell that Wade is a HIGH IQ player that’s going to feast off of those cuts in space and skip passes 10. This project will definitely take time as guys begin to adjust and become familiar with operating from different spots on the floor as they now are able to play off a LeBron creating hub

Book 1 - Enemies after a few exchanges. She thinks him cute but wants to crush him. 2, Chamber of Secrets - Draco is shocked by Harry's bravery and learns of his background, making her doubt her emnity but still very hostile openly. 3, Prisoner of Azkaban - She openly despises him but she is becoming enamored with his bravery in secret. "He breaks rules like a good Slytherin" 4, Goblet of Fire - This is where things change. Not only does she start seeing him in actual danger but she realizes she is excited by him losing a bet and asking her to the Yule Ball. They end up arguing, yet share a sweet moment that Harry ruins. She is now confused by her feelings and Harry wonders why she he finds her pretty when she's still so cruel to him. At the end of the book, she even says she will miss him while School is out. Their relationship looks positive. 5, Order of the Phoenix - Draco starts acting very weird. She avoids him then seeks him out to ask strange questions. Her mood is fluctuating, her motives don't make any sense. Harry tries to date Cho and Malfoid is actively sabotaging it. She has feelings for him but she knows Voldemort is back and doesn't know what to do about that. At the end Harry wonders how much she knew given her strange behavior. 6, Half-Blood Prince - Malfoid is distant and cold. Harry pursues her throughout the story trying to find out what's happening. She leaves him a cryptic note he can never decipher. He tells her he cares about her, that he can tell something is wrong. She tells him to leave her alone for his own sake. She goes to finally admit what's going on, to beg him for help... But he has kissed Ginny. So she commits to Voldemorts plan. The end of the story is the same but now the fallout crushes them both further. Harry can't tell if she's a traitor or not, if he cares for her or hates her. Malfoid knows she betrayed him but is in denial about her feelings. Believing she just wants a Hero to save her, which she sees as weak, not something a Slytherin should want. Not what Lord Voldemort would want 7 Deathly Hallows - Harry and Ginny's relationship doesn't stand a chance because early on, Harry reveals he thinks Malfoid should be saved. This angers everyone and more so when Harry makes a risky attempt to contact her. Doing this however, makes Malfoid realize Harry doesn't hate her and gives her Hope. Harry then reunited with the main cast saying he needs to deal with Voldemort AND save Malfoid as she's been held against her will. This drama replaces the boring start to Deathly Hallows. The rest continues until the end where Harry's fake death breaks Malfoid apart and her true feelings are revealed, then we get the iconic image of them teaming up to defeat Voldemort.
All I can say is, imagine the frigging self-discipline required to pull off this kind of ending. Most authors would not—could not—believably write this over seven books. And I don't mean in terms spice. That's easy. I mean in terms of payoff and character progression. Part of what made Male Malfoy easier to write is that he remained a sniveling little shit until book 6. His female counterpart, as has been demonstrated, would be infinitely more likeable from the get-go. Maintaining that tension with the core trio while also going through most of the same story beats as the original Malfoy, would be an impressive exercise in self-control. I don't think I've seen such a long-form transition from villain to hero without the author rushing it, or the audience wondering, "Wait, why are they enemies again after that big moment in the previous book?" Except Vegeta. He is the quintessential tsundere.

Female Draco/Malfoid is so genius that it’s possibly the biggest missed opportunity in the whole series. And what makes it crazy is that you barely have to change the story. Most of the major scenes could happen almost exactly as written. You’d just add an entirely different layer underneath them. Harry and Malfoy still hate each other. They’re still rivals. She’s still an arrogant, spoiled pure-blood supremacist from a family that represents almost everything Harry despises. But somewhere underneath all of that, there’s an attraction neither one of them particularly wants. Go all the way back to Madam Malkin’s. Their first meeting suddenly matters more. They meet before either knows who the other is, and there could be just the slightest flicker of interest before Harry realizes what kind of person she is. Then they get to Hogwarts, identities fall into place, and whatever possibility existed immediately turns into hostility. From there, you almost don’t need to manufacture anything. The existing story keeps putting these two people in each other’s orbit. The Quidditch rivalry becomes charged. The constant insults become a little too personal. Malfoy seems unusually interested in whatever Potter is doing. Harry insists he can’t stand her while nevertheless noticing her every time she walks into a room. And then you get to Goblet of Fire, where some of the fanfiction versions of this idea have stumbled onto something that actually works remarkably well: Harry somehow gets stuck taking Malfoy to the Yule Ball. The reason can be almost comically contrived. A magical obligation, a lost bet, McGonagall forcing some inter-house arrangement, whatever. That's hardly outside the operating logic of Harry Potter. The series routinely uses magical rules, school traditions and bizarre circumstances to force characters into situations they would never voluntarily choose. The important part isn't how you get them there. It's what happens once they're there. Because now Harry has to spend an entire evening with Malfoy when neither of them can retreat into their normal roles. For the first time, Harry sees her dressed for a formal occasion instead of wearing Slytherin robes and a sneer. There's that horrible teenage moment of realizing, Oh no. Malfoy is actually beautiful. And she gets the corresponding realization about him. They're still antagonistic. They probably spend half the night insulting each other. But eventually they actually talk. Maybe they even have fun for ten minutes before remembering they're supposed to hate each other. Then Malfoy goes home for Christmas. And Lucius finds out that his daughter went to the Yule Ball with Harry Potter. That's where this version could suddenly become much more serious. Lucius beats her for it. You wouldn't need to make it melodramatic or turn Draca into a helpless victim. In fact, it works better if Harry doesn't even know immediately. She comes back to Hogwarts acting exactly like Malfoy always acts; arrogant, hostile, determined that nobody see anything underneath. But Harry notices something is wrong. Eventually he discovers what happened. And that would fundamentally alter the way he sees her. Because Harry understands this. Maybe better than almost anyone at Hogwarts. Harry knows what it's like to be a child living in a house where an adult can hurt you and everyone outside that house has no idea. He knows what it's like to dread going home. He knows what it's like to cover up what's happening and then show up at school pretending everything is normal. And suddenly Harry has to reconcile two apparently contradictory facts: Malfoy is awful to him. And Malfoy's father is awful to her. One doesn't erase the other. That's much more interesting than simply revealing that she was secretly nice all along. She can still be prejudiced. She can still call Hermione a Mudblood. She can still bully people. Harry can still genuinely dislike enormous parts of who she is. But now he can't flatten her into Malfoy = bad anymore. And crucially, she knows that he knows. Imagine how humiliating that would be for her. Of all people, Potter knows. So maybe she becomes even nastier toward him afterward. And Harry can't understand why. Hermione probably can. That gives you an emotional thread that can sit quietly underneath the next several books without taking over the story. Then Half-Blood Prince is where the idea becomes almost absurdly perfect, because the story Rowling already wrote starts behaving like a dark romance without actually being one. Harry becomes obsessed with Malfoy. Where is she? What is she doing? Why is she disappearing? What is she hiding? Everyone else thinks Harry is being ridiculous. Ron could basically spend half the movie going, “Mate, you realize you talk about Malfoy constantly?” And Harry's answer is completely sincere: “Because she's a Death Eater!” Which, of course, she actually is. That's what makes it work. You don't have to turn her into a misunderstood sweetheart. In fact, doing that would ruin it. She's genuinely involved with something horrifying. Harry's attraction doesn't make his suspicions wrong; it makes the situation worse. And now the earlier Lucius storyline pays off. Harry knows what her father is capable of. So when he realizes Voldemort has given Malfoy an impossible assignment, Harry can understand something the others might miss: this isn't necessarily an honor. It may be another form of punishment directed at the Malfoy family. Then you get the bathroom scene. Instead of simply being a brutal confrontation between two enemies, Harry finds the girl he's spent years fighting (and whom he now suspects of being a Death Eater) crying alone in a bathroom. For once, there's nobody else around. No Crabbe and Goyle. No Ron and Hermione. No audience. Just Harry and Malfoy. And everything explodes. Harry nearly kills her. Now imagine him standing there afterward, looking down at her bleeding on the floor. Because he's seen Malfoy hurt before. Her father did it. And now Harry has too. That realization would absolutely devastate him. Then the Astronomy Tower takes it further. Harry watches her stand over Dumbledore and realizes she can't do it. Not because she's secretly been good all along. Because she's sixteen, terrified, trapped by her family and Voldemort, and discovering that becoming the person she was raised to be is much easier in theory than in reality. And then you arrive at Malfoy Manor. That scene barely needs to change at all. She's asked whether the disfigured prisoner is Harry Potter. She knows. Harry knows she knows. And she says she isn't sure. That's the moment. No kiss. No confession. No sudden declaration that she's joining the good guys. Years earlier, Harry learned what happened to her when Lucius discovered she'd gone to a school dance with Harry Potter. Now she's standing in Lucius Malfoy's house, surrounded by Death Eaters, with Voldemort potentially one summons away. All she has to do is say: “That's Harry Potter.” And she can't do it. Harry realizes that Malfoy may have just saved his life. That also gives Harry saving her during the Battle of Hogwarts much more weight. Neither of them has formally switched sides for the other. They just keep reaching moments where the other person's life is actually in their hands and they can't let them die. The crucial thing is that I wouldn't actually have them become a couple during the main story. That would make it too neat. Let the war finish first. Let Malfoy remain complicated: proud, damaged, occasionally awful, deeply attached to her family, and forced to reckon with what that family taught her. Then, after Voldemort is gone, you finally allow all those years of hatred, fascination, attraction, guilt and reluctant respect to become something else. And suddenly Harry's romantic story isn't something that appears relatively late in the series. It's been quietly developing since the first book. It even reinforces one of the central ideas of Harry Potter: the family you're born into doesn't have to determine the person you become. Harry isn't defined by the Dursleys. Sirius isn't defined by the Blacks. And Malfoy doesn't necessarily have to become what Lucius intended his daughter to become. That's why I think the idea is so compelling. It's not just “Draco would be hotter as a girl” or an enemies-to-lovers gimmick. Changing one variable creates a seven-book romantic arc almost entirely out of material that's already there. And then, after everything Harry Potter has been through, you get the most ridiculous possible final punchline: Harry Potter marries a Malfoy. Which means Lucius Malfoy has to spend the rest of his natural life knowing that the daughter he once beat for going to a school dance with Harry Potter eventually married Harry Potter. And Harry Potter is now the father of his grandchildren. Christmas at Malfoy Manor would be spectacular.
