4/4 There is a lot of excitement and anticipation about this year’s Rally, and we hope to see many members, volunteers, exhibitors, visitors and all exhibits, old and new, at Stithians Showground on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August.
3/4 Our website weses.co.uk/ which has also had a facelift, from where entry forms can be downloaded. Advanced entry and camping sales will be available online very soon.
2/4 We are excited to be able to announce new Steam team for the Rally led by Jon Eastman with the assistance of Josh Menear and Josh Sandow who will be in contact with exhibitors new and old in the coming weeks.
1/4 Since our last event in 2019, there have been plans to give the event a refresh, and with a number of Society members having stepped up to assist within the committee, there are many progressive ideas on the table.
We are pleased to confirm that the West of England Steam Engine Society will be holding our annual event at the Stithians Showground on 19th, 20th and 21st August 2022.
During mid February we will be uploading our entry form to our Facebook page.
While we can’t be holding our 65th anniversary event this weekend we wish all exhibitors and attendees well and look forward to seeing you in 2021.

Today the #ntetarchives have been on the move, and a little peek simply couldn’t be resisted - here we have the Burrell Engine Listing in the hand of Michael R. Lane.

The giant sculpture of St Piran left Trenoweth Quarry in Mabe today, on the first leg of its journey - to Falmouth. From Falmouth, it will be sailing across to Brittany - where it will join 99 other saintly sculptures in La Vallée des Saints.

A beautiful photograph this taken by Colin Harris last Sunday of the McLaren Ploughing Engine ‘Hero’ skilfully negotiating the roads around a small Cornish village as they head towards our own @SteamTeamSAC Driving Day.

Saturday is the day. The first #NTETAuthorised Event of the year, where the streets of Camborne come alive to the sight and sound of Steam on the road.
It’s a great day out.
