Good morning and welcome to all who are playing today’s invitation day. There’s very little wind, the ground is like concrete and the greens are running at 10.5. Enjoy Shipley 🏌🏻

The great clear up has begun. Never seen so much damage on a course from one storm. We’re out inspecting every tree today and tidying up what we can. The course should be open again from tomorrow. Thank god the old oak on 14 survived 🙌

Tee markers have been moved to winter mats on the par 3’s. We’re also taking some signs out reminding trolley users to keep away from the greens. Please carry if you can as we shift focus from presentation to preservation ⛳️
