The new Labour budget cannot come soon enough. My 93 year old father has been stuck in an ambulance outside the hospital tonight for 4 hours (and counting). Still no sign of a bed. 14 years of Tory mismanagement of public services.

Sometimes one of the perks of the job is just the cool buildings I get to work in! Newcastle Civic Centre is a must for architecture nerds - serious Mad Men / Kubrick / Loki vibes - 60s Swedish furniture, Portuguese marble floors, original carpets and chairs. (and AV shows)
