Happy to have supported this soft launch of a great project with a presentation of my thesis project. I'm certain thos project will become a great resource for students locals and anyone else who has an interest in the built environment. Unbuilt.ie – at Dublin City, Ireland

Surely not? Molyneux House in Dublin 8 to be demolished for a much less architecturally important and totally insensitive hotel. Another hotel in Dublin 8 and another loss of what looks like could be a significant building.
!!!! Can’t believe it @frank_oconnor @anoisagency

Dublin City Council's desire to put fences around public spaces is now in direct conflict with their love for maintaining access to the Brown Thomas car park through South William Street.
Would be great if the word could get out about these emerging ideas around co-housing (not co-living) and 'self organised architecture', especially among non-architects - people thinking of their future homes.

Unfortunately Portobello Plaza is closed this weekend & we appeal to the public not to come here. We are aware of the importance of public spaces but some behaviour at this location in recent weeks has been completely unacceptable. bit.ly/3fgBibd

People are going to do fascinating academic studies on how long it's taking for Irish authorities to wake up to airborne transmission of the virus (and the measures that are proven to mitigate it). I've basically accepted that most people will be vaccinated before they learn.
