Our final challenge was to work together to create a simple den, large enough to hide a Roman soldier.
We were set a challenge to use materials we could find to create a patterned shield, just like those used in Roman times.
Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed working as part of a team, racing against other groups to find a variety of woodland items during Forest School.
Last week in PSHE, year 1 discussed the importance of staying safe online and compared our online lives to our offline lives
Year 5 followed the rules of basketball well to enable them to use skills effectively with their partner. They showed great dribbling, control and technique @UNICEF_uk #article28

Year 4 loved Tidy by Emily Gravett at forest school 🌿 The story sparked great discussions about how natural “mess” is vital for nature, while litter harms it, and that caring for our woodland means working in harmony with it—not erasing it.
A great story for all! 📖
As today is the feast day of St. Benet, Year 3 have drawn and painted their own stained glass window in memory of him.
Year 4 were thrilled to be back at forest school. We enjoyed exploring and playing games - all while following the forest school ethos.

Year 6 have enjoyed researching all of the wonderful things St Benet valued. We have then turned this into stained glass window art 🖼️ 🎨
Year 2 are enjoying celebrating the special feast day of our Patron Saint, St Benet. They have learnt all about his life and that he brought his knowledge of stained glass windows to the UK; this inspired everyone to design their own stained glass window in pastel and paint.
Children from Reception to Year 6 came together on Friday for art alley, where we learned about two famous artists, Keith Harring and Andy Warhol. We then used our artistic skills to recreate their art🎨🖌️👩🏼🎨🧑🏽🎨 .
