MY CHANNEL HAS FINALLY GOT REMONETIZED! I wanna thank my community and everyone else that helped pitch in with support for my situation. Also thank you to the creators that covered my situation like @DeepHumor and @NicholasLightTV. I also want to thank TeamYoutube for handling this situation.
However, the fight isn't over. I was able to do this because of my size and influence. I understand their are many creators smaller then me still fighting this. We as creators love posting on the platform, it benefits us and YouTube. The AI moderation done this year is destroying peoples lives in a snap. I hope YouTube will seriously get rid of this system and have more human reviewers checking our cases. AI CAN NOT BE IN CHARGE OF OUR LIVELIHOODS

Youtubes AI decided to completely demonetize my main channel for "misleading family content". My videos have never been put as "made for kids" nor do I advertise my channel as such. I've seen this happen with animation channels before, but I literally SHOW MY FACE in my videos. I've had my channel for over 9 years and I've rarely even had age restrictions or videos taken down.
What's odd about this is I've even had partner managers in the past I've communicated with. I've met partner managers IN REAL LIFE at creator cons and events. My channel clearly does not advertise to young minors intentionally or unintentionally for "sexual content or violence" like wtf😭?
I am asking youtube to please have a Human Reviewer check this clear false demonetization @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators @YouTube

So YouTube’s Al has decided to completely demonetize my whole channel saying it's no longer eligible for monetization because I post "Misleading Family Content" which is completely wrong.

Day 6 @TeamYouTube (going to keep posting until I get a HUMAN review) I’ve been trying to be patient through this process, but have been receiving automated email after automated email. My YouTube channel @Julzdot is still wrongfully demonetized for “Misleading family content”. Under COPPA I’m legally obligated to state whether or not my videos are intended for a younger audience which I have stated they ARE NOT time and time again for the last 4 years. Nothing about my content is catered or aimed at families or children, and if I could please get a human being to take a look they would see that is true.
It is stated in YouTubes policy that a “kid” is considered someone under the age of 13. As shown below my MAIN demographic is between the ages of 25-34 and the second highest being between 18-24. If my content was attracting minors as well as families surely those numbers would look a bit different. Again this is a mistake that has been effecting many creators. One of them being @Codenamesuper who thankfully got his issue resolved earlier this morning after consistently having to reach out to you guys for 11 days straight. The ability for creators to communicate with an actual representative should not be this difficult. We shouldn’t be aimlessly going back and forth with AI that isn’t even able to meaningfully review our content and differentiate between what’s right and wrong. Please help @YouTube @YouTubeCreators

@TeamYouTube It has been 33 days since my channel was fully demonetized due to what I believe was an incorrect determination of “Misleading Family Content”, caused by an automated false AI positive. Since the decision, I have submitted evidence and tried to get help from Creator Support, but have only received repeated automated and templated responses stating that the review decision is final without addressing the information provided. In addition, my ability to contact Creator Support was restricted for 30 days, limiting any opportunity for further discussion or review. The email blocking my access to support falsely claims I was “excessive and abusive” with my email messages but that is obviously not true and I have the email threads to back this up. Other creators receive monetization reinstatement after presenting additional evidence and obtaining further review. I am respectfully requesting a manual review by a member of the YouTube team and reinstatement into the YouTube Partner Program.

Over a month ago my YouTube channel was suspended from the Partner Program due to “misleading family content” because I make content mainly centered around anime and recently YouTube’s automation has decided that content like that is only meant for kids therefore resulting in my suspension even though I’ve never implied nor said they were made for kids (legally required to tell them when posting a video) so not only is this situation blatantly wrong and obviously an automation error it’s also just unfair, if you’re seeing this I’m pretty sure I’m not the only character you know that’s been hit by this and you’ve probably also seen people get their channels fixed further proving this new system is making mistakes, but even after making the appeal video YouTube told me to make it has YET to receive any external views therefore meaning my situation hasn’t even been looked at besides by the robot that suspended me in the first place, I never received any warnings nor has my channel ever been in any sort of trouble and actually YouTube themselves emailed me 3 months ago saying I was eligible for a YouTube Rep so I’d assume they checked my channel beforehand before making that decision. All in all I wanted to express the need for not only mine but everyone’s channel simply receive a manual review for this situation since it quite obviously is making mistakes and it would also help if YouTube would stop ignoring its creators and simply pushing AI responses to their face every time they have problems when they are allowing AI to jeopardize people’s livelihoods at random, for almost two months I’ve seemed to be completely ignored no matter the way I try to get in contact with them and I do not believe that is right nor fair, if you’ve read this far or shared thank you and hopefully YouTube can get these resolved.

Day 8 of trying to get a fair review from @TeamYouTube In a recent denial of my appeal, I received an automated message stating that a large portion of my channel consists of "Misleading Family Content," which is objectively impossible. Out of the 65 videos on my channel, the only animated topics that could even remotely be misconstrued by an automated system are two videos from the Avatar franchise: one being Avatar: The Last Airbender and the other being The Legend of Korra. Per YouTube’s official help guidelines regarding audience designation, a video is a multi-factored assessment, and content is not automatically classified as child-directed simply because it features animated characters. Both shows are general-audience, mature animated programs that heavily feature complex themes of death, colonialism, environmental grief, and human identity.
Furthermore, I have already appealed this decision 4 separate times, yet my unlisted appeal video has only 1 view—which is strictly from me when I opened the link to double-check that my channel URL was placed right at the start of the video. No human policy specialist has actually watched it. Additionally, I have never received the official appeal review feedback inside my YouTube Studio, receiving only repeated, generic auto-rejections. This clearly indicates a broken automated review loop. My channel's compliance is further proven by the fact that I was handpicked to participate as an early YouTube Premium Affiliate. This required a manual, human review of my channel track by YouTube staff. I was explicitly cleared to produce a dedicated video featuring a mid-roll advertisement, and the entire video layout had to be fully reviewed and approved by YouTube before posting. Regardless of the automated flag's claim of a "large portion" of violations, the remaining 97% of my channel consists of media breakdowns for Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, Invincible, and Marvel movies. These are strictly general-audience and teen/mature pop-culture topics. I strictly utilize YouTube's self-certification system to declare the use of profanity in my audio tracks, which automatically bumps the target demographic away from child audiences. These intentional metadata steps structurally instruct the algorithm not to push my videos to toddlers, resulting in empirical analytics showing that over 84% of my viewership is strictly above the age of 18. Because the metadata, backend routing, and audio content explicitly signal a mature commentary format, this channel cannot logically be classified as Misleading Family Content. Without any warning or discussion YouTube removed all monetization from my channel due to “Misleading family content”
I have been a partner for 4 years since March of 2022, and have not once attempted to mislead or misdirect any younger viewer because that is NOT who my content has ever been catered toward. I explicitly label each video as “Not for Kids” on YouTube studio as well as checking off all the necessary bubbles in the ad suitability section. My content involves adult humor, mild profanity, and depending on the media I’m commentating on maybe even mild violence. This has ALWAYS been the case for my channel. Creators shouldn’t have to go through this. @TeamYouTube please help me get this resolved.

My YouTube channel was completely demonetized for ban evading when I have no account that’s banned from the YouTube partner program
As you probably know many creators like Codenamesuper , Zephfire , Masokay have been demonetized falsely by ai for “misleading content”
Despite marking all their videos as NOT MADE FOR KIDS , but since masokay lives with me
Uses the same wifi , they mistook my account as one of his and banned me then denied my appeal without even watching it @TeamYouTube @YouTube
