Why do people comtinually ignore the fact he was desperate to leave. This was like his 3rd attempt and he got convinced to stay longer several times before that.

Arsenal could have played like Bayern, with Andrea Berta they wouldn't have signed any of those players. Did you forget that Kroenke had to intervene because he didn't want to pay for Bruno G? Forget about "park in the bus," Arsenal wouldn't catch anyone anyway.
