#MMTLP Have you heard of AST having 2 different cusipβs for nextbridge? They opened a second account for me and said it was because when E*trade sent over second batch they had my middle initial included. I was just looking at the statements and they have different cusip. December statement 591994371 and February statement 629999590. Both came from E*Trade. Wondering if anyone else has had this situation?

Coming soon on Going Rogue with Lara Loganβ¦
If there wasn't an imbalance in MMTLP it would've made perfect sense for brokerages to follow the original plan of sending all shares to the transfer agent.
Instead, FINRA and the SEC apparently devised a plan to hide the problem.
Look at the first MMTLP Corporate Action and compare it to the second. (image 1)
FINRA claimed that they meant to include MMTLP Sybol Deletion would occur effective 12/13/22 but what happens if you pretend they did?
That initial Corporate Action would still make no sense because it said that MMTLP shareholders with settled positions as of the 12/12 Record Date would receive one share of Next Bridge Hydrocarbons for every share of MMTLP held on the Pay/Distribution Date of 12/14/22.
How can shareholders be holding MMTLP on 12/14/22 if it was Deleted effective 00:00:00 12/13/22???
(image 2 shows what the SEC made effective... A 12/14/22 Exchange followed by MMTLP Share Cancellation)
So instead of actually fixing the fact that FINRA incorrectly made 00:00:00 12/13/22 the overall Effective Date of the MMTLP Corporate Action, they instead removed any mention of 12/14/22, and made the revised Corporate Action all about Deleting the Symbol Effective 00:00:00 12/13/22, which was a full 40 hours before the actual EXCHANGE set to take place on 12/14/22 after the close of business.
Why did they do this?
I think it's because they needed to conduct their own EXCHANGE before the real EXCHANGE so that they could hide/track the obligations with their own system of identifiers.
Image 3 shows what actually occurred on 12/13/22. MMTLP was EXCHANGED for something but it wasn't Next Bridge Hydrocarbons. The Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares weren't distributed until 12/14/22.
Don't include your personal information but feel free to share images from other brokerages showing that an MMTLP Exchange took place on 12/13/22.
There weren't enough Next Bridge Hydrocarbons shares for a 1 for 1 exchange. So far Tradestation is the only brokerage that admitted so. (image 4) @VP @FBI @TheJusticeDept

βοΈIn re Meta Materials Inc. Chapter 7 bankruptcy
ποΈCase No. 24-50792-gs
πFiled September 15, 2026
β οΈNot legal advice.
The trustee is asking the court to approve the sale of two lawsuits involving alleged avoidable transfersβthe Authentix and 24M cases. This proposal does not include the separate market-manipulation class action against Citadel, Virtu, and Anson. The sale has not been approved yet.
π° Doc. 2966 β Trusteeβs Motion for Order Authorizing Sale and Assignment of Litigation Claims
Trustee Christina Lovato proposes selling the Authentix and 24M claims to BaileyBridge, Inc., owned and controlled by Greg McCabe, for $250,000 upfront plus 20% of any recovery remaining after litigation costs. BaileyBridge would pay the future costs of pursuing the cases.
π Significant disclosure: Lovato also has a separate tolling agreement with McCabe concerning certain 2023 transactions. In plain terms, it preserves time for the estate to consider any claims it may have against him. She says she does not believe it creates a conflict.
π Doc. 2967 β Declaration of Christina Lovato in Support of the Motion
Lovato gives her sworn reasons for supporting the sale. She says the two cases took substantial investigation, and McCabeβs large MMAT shareholding gives him an incentive to pursue them. She confirms that the securities-trading class action is a separate set of claims.
π Doc. 2967-1 β Exhibit 1, Assignment of Litigation Claims Agreement
If the court approves the deal, BaileyBridge would control how the Authentix and 24M claims are pursued, settled, or appealed. The estateβs 20% share is calculated after reasonable, documented legal and other prosecution expensesβnot from the gross recovery.
β³ The $250,000 would be due within 20 days after a final, nonappealable approval order. The copy attached to the filing has blank execution dates and signature lines.
ποΈ Doc. 2968 β Notice of Hearing on the Trusteeβs Motion
Judge Gary Spraker has scheduled a remote hearing for October 13, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Anyone opposing the motion must file and serve a written response at least 14 days beforehandβordinarily September 29, 2026, unless an exception applies.
π What to watch: Whether the court finds the price and the estateβs retained 20% interest fair, particularly in light of the disclosed McCabe tolling agreement. These filings state the trusteeβs proposal; they are not a ruling on the sale or proof that either lawsuit will succeed.

π¨ WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON AT THE SEC?
The SEC admits 22 agency iPhones had potentially missing federal records, with missing periods overlapping the MMTLP trading halt and aftermath.
Now Congress needs answers:
WHO had the phones?
WHO handled MMTLP?
Were SEC, FINRA or DTCC communications lost?
Were FOIA searches incomplete?
Were investors told records may be missing?
125,000 investors have been demanding answers for years.
Enough secrecy. Enough delays. Enough βtrust us.β
PRESERVE THE RECORDS.
RELEASE THE FOIAs.
SUBPOENA THE COMMUNICATIONS.

In good time... I aim to publish written, undeniable evidence, where a certain MMAT insider early in 2024 wrote that "the Board comes first", then "employees", and vendors (creditors) were last... zero mention (or care in my opinion) about shareholders, especially retail. If you like to read further, the MMAT Trustee vs 24M complaint offers interesting insights.

I am really happy to see that my post is sparking conversation and is making people think and question.
Introducing... ESMA SSR Article 16: esma.europa.eu/publications-β¦
ESMA Short Selling Regulation (SSR) is Regulation (EU) No 236/2012.
It is EU law on short selling and certain credit default swaps. ESMA writes the technical standards and keeps the public lists. National regulators (BaFin, AMF, etc.) enforce it.
It has three jobs:
1. see large shorts,
2. ban uncovered shorts in scope shares, and
3. let authorities intervene in a crisis.
What it covers
It applies to:
- Shares admitted to trading on an EU/EEA regulated market or MTF
- EU sovereign debt and related sovereign CDS
- Location of the trader does not matter.
- A US or Cayman fund is in scope if the instrument is in scope.
Two extra gates for shares:
The share must be traded on an EU venue (TOTV).
The PRINCIPAL trading venue must be in the European Union, NOT a third country...
and so...
If the MAIN market is the US (or another third country), Article 16 EXEMPTS that share from:
- net-short notification (Art. 5)
- public disclosure (Art. 6)
- the uncovered short-sale ban (Art. 12)
- SSR buy-in rules (Art. 15)
ESMAβs example:
a US company also listed in Germany, but whose principal venue is the US, is exempt. That is why dual-listed US names and OTC-style paper often NEVER appear in EU short files.
ESMA publishes the exempted shares list (principal venue outside the EU).
this is just the tip of the iceberg...
Almost 1 year ago, @ElfCarbon made the increcible post below.
Upon thorough investigation, the @markets Bloomberg terminal screenshots show the face number is 11,849,153,000 units (M)
The "M" abbreviation on a Corp preferred DES screen is Bloomberg's standard "thousands" abbreviator (from the Roman-numeral mille), NOT the sovereign fixed-income "millions" $ convention.
Read that way, the Reopenings History row on the #MMTLP Preferred is asserting an issued/reopened amount on the order of 11.85 BILLION preferred shares, with Announce and Effective dates 12 December 2022, the day of the CUSIP deletion and the day before final cash settlement.
The publicly known MMTLP outstanding as of the September 2021 spinoff was ~165 million preferred shares.
If a Bloomberg terminal is showing a Reopenings row of 11.85 billion shares dated 12 December 2022 on the same preferred, that is NOT a rounding artefact and it is not a sovereign auction... it is either:
(a) a Bloomberg terminal data error on a security that was in the middle of its most contested corporate action of the decade, or
(b) a real reopening/issuance event on a preferred that was formally represented to the market as having been extinguished at the S1 record date.
Both readings are worth chasing. only one of them is a smoking gun, and neither is the message we have all been fed (since 2023) to believe in any FAQ...
