This is a VERY sweet way to both show observed data and the "shrunken" (estimated talent) data
I don't think I've ever seen that before?

"All the analytics nerds are looking for jobs with Meta."
No, dude, they're working for the Brewers
The Brewers play baseball the way it was intended. Contact plays. Computers off. Calculators in the drawer. Spreadsheets in the trash. All the analytics nerds are looking for jobs with Meta.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Milwaukee Brewers maintain a large Baseball Research & Development department with vice presidents, directors, senior analysts, data engineers and systems staff who develop tools and data for organizational decisions.

Couple days late to this, but decided to dig into the NFL penalty increases. It's really all pre-snap calls driving the rise (@StatsbyLopez pointed this out a couple days back)
Then the question becomes why are pre-snap penalties up this year?
The two penalties at ten-year high’s are
1) Delay of Game (63, average 37.4)
2) False Start (175, average 147.5)
Of the delay of games, 34 were on 4th down (and thus likely strategic)
Arguably, less newsworthy than it seems
Penalty calls seem to be in the news.
