Very well articulated. The FSD stats speak for themselves, yes there are many who love it but no where near a majority.
I only shot this video yesterday. The Volvo EX60 with huge range, 800v architecture, NVIDIA's new ADAS and Google shows where the market is rapidly going. Tesla are wedded to shorter range, 400v, no smart assistant outside the US and now no ADAS at all - not even dumb autopilot.
You can't argue with the market, going about telling consumers they are wrong. But that seems to be the Tesla strategy - you can't have what you want, and if you ask for them you're just ignorant because our way is best.
Tesla sales decline year on year on year, with the rate decline accelerating. They can't sell FSD on vehicles they can't sell because people have stopped buying them.
Why has this Volvo set social media on fire? Because its the iPhone. And Tesla insist that you really really want that Blackberry keyboard.
And before Elon enthusiasts insist its all about FSD, remember the stats. 12% of Tesla cars have FSD. The vast majority don't want it or can't have it even if they do want it. And 2% was the take-up rate of FSD after the 2024 free trial. Even when people try it, they still don't want to pay for it.

Ok every time I see this I think was does this achieve? A single car travelling through a tunnel. I would understand a bus or large people mover but there seems no real gain from a traffic perspective if it is carrying just a driver and say one passenger.

Some nice figures from the @PorscheNewsroom annual results press release. Electrified vehicles accounted for 27 per cent share of total units sold. About half of them were all-electric sports cars (12.7 per cent). Nice BEV progress. Seems 12 months in things are starting to step up on the App side. Sadly seems no progress on a consumer version, so looks like I will be sticking with Quest for a while longer.
It would be a big leap to say it is about Musk. There are far more choices now in Australia, lots of way cheaper EV’s for price sensitive buyers so arguably their market share was always likely to fall particularly when you toss cost of living on top. Yeah some might be anti musk but not much imho.

Should be an interesting days trading in #teslastock reported numbers were in some ways a negative but the earnings call was lit. The next couple of years alone could wild. Be a very strange time sell for mind (unless you have to of course).
