.@ClimateEnvoy: To meet the challenge, at the Leaders’ Summit in April, the United States announced an ambitious target of reducing our emissions by 50-52 percent by 2030. We do all this knowing full well that no country and no continent alone can solve the climate crisis.

.@ClimateEnvoy: The suffering of COVID will be magnified many times over in a world that does not grapple with and ultimately halt the climate crisis. We do not have the luxury of waiting until COVID is vanquished to take up the climate challenge. go.usa.gov/xFg46

.@POTUS: “Meeting the moment on climate change must begin with a recognition that every nation has a responsibility and every nation is at risk.” More: go.usa.gov/xH5A7. #LeadersClimateSummit

.@POTUS Biden: America must lead in the face of this existential [climate] threat. And just as with the pandemic, it requires global cooperation.

On #EarthDay, I want to remind everyone that the best way to achieve a greener, cleaner future is to unleash private innovation and free market competition. The United States is, and will continue to be, a world leader in reducing all types of emissions. #Earth2020
