Who killed art? Artists. And the artists complaining the most about A.I.? They're the ones who are the hardest to work with or are the most unreliable. You get a couple bad experiences and then you relish the idea of using A.I. over an artist with an unprofessional attitude.

This is your art. They didn't slam your work because it's fanart. They slammed it because it's garbage. And I consider my stuff to be mediocre at best. I'd rate my artistic skill at around 4.5 out of 10. I'm my own worst critic. And I'm just some bozo with 4k followers. Then there's the accounts here with 100k+ followers and all the time they're criticizing themselves. They're not doing this self-criticism for coos and asspats by their followers. They're doing this because harsh self-criticism is the only reason their skill has carried them to 100k+ followers. The most skilled artist on this app would probably tell you, in all honesty, that they rate themselves a 3.5 out of 10. And this is why they harshed on your work. Hell, truthfully, they were probably soft-pedaling any criticism of your stuff compared to how they appraise their own. Every beginning artist is faced with a decision: never become satisfied with their level of skill, or become you. You decided to become you.
