I think what I love the most about dark soul 2 is it's level design and it's interactivity there's so many interactions and puzzles in each area it makes the levels more fun to actually explore instead of it just being an area with enemies until the boss
I really hate the current state of fromsoft fans they pick their favorite games like they're factions and can only chose one to endlessly glaze while shitting on the others
The dark souls 2 revisionism is probably the worst to me because I had to deal with people constantly shitting on the game for years and now people are suddenly praising it because "it funny lmao peak souls 2!" Instead of it's actual good qualities and constantly ignore criticism
