And the gov could just say despite paying in 35 years, it is now 40 or alternatively scrap future pensions despite your NI payments.

Bit like the student loans. Students were tild one thing when they took the loan out and now the gov changes the rules. The gov can do pretty much what it wants.

Not sure if that is supposed to ironic, supportive or a pathetic attempt at humour.

Of course, you can't actually read that article without paying for it, but I would hesitate a guess that vacancy adverts are down as schools arent recruiting to save money.

@VodafoneUK having read today I'll be paying another 8% for my broadband service due to you 'experiencing inflationary' pressures, it's good to know what those pressures are considering my annual payrise was about 0.5x inflation. Another installment of operation rip off in the UK

Nice to see BT being a bit more proactive leading to me being evermore judicious in who I give my business to.

Also, love the irony of the regulations are, “very ambiguous” and bureaucratic..." given the amount of extra bureaucracy you introduced to trade with the EU.

Wait for it....... "It's still worth it," will be the cries, "to be a soverign country again!" despite always having been soverign.

Great news - no funding for health, education, cut fuel tax etc.
Nothing exotic - meat and two veg only, is that it?

@parcelforce why offer a phone number for a 'customer service team' that states advice is available then not offer an option to talk to someone. It only offers a robotic system to pay or rearrange services and not give help.

Due to the lack of opportunity to talk to someone and the lack of clear info on your website you have lost my custom to UPS which was much more straightforward.
Mot really going to ease the cost of living if they aren't permanent. Getting a discount on a couple of journeys to go sightseeing isn't going to cover the doubling of a fuel bill and 7%+ food cost rises (extra £364 per year on £100pw grocery bill).
Yes it does. Their ideology dictates that the states shouldn't do anything where a profit could be made as if the state makes the profit it benefits everyone and not just a rich few.
