Today at #StaplesRoadPrimary in Loughton we planned out a scooter track, a giant sandpit and the process to get the loose parts shed open. Much excitement and a clear #RiskBenefit process in place! #OPALSchools #PlanForPlay #OutdoorPeople

Year 2 loved Eden Oasis coming in with a range of creepy crawlies such as leaf insects, millipedes and giant snails. Children learned loads of facts and gave great descriptions of how the creatures felt. #nature #Curriculum #educacion Edenoasis.uk

Some brilliant #Coronation bunting, designed by Staples Road Primary. Some great designs and portraits of King Charles although admittedly some do look a bit like @BorisJohnson

These amazing #Coronation cupcakes were cooked by our kitchen. The children loved eating them in the hall, festooned with bunting.

We are proud to open the Hive: a versatile and busy work place for groups or small classes of children. There are work stations that fold down from the walls and tables that fold and wheel away to create space for yoga and mindfulness sessions. Here are before and after pics! 馃悵
