It is why it is so important to test on your own use cases. Don’t just listen to others.

If possible, ask kids what they want feedback on before providing any.
It's honestly a game-changer for the feedback.
Make it simple. My students often just leave a comment on their work with one thing to celebrate and one question for me.
It changes the dynamic completely.
