Want more evidence that @Tesla FSD is going mainstream? Hereβs Kelly from The Car Mom - who reviews family vehicles and tests how well car seats fit in them - driving the new Model Y L.
"I'm on FSD. This is the most unbelievable technology I have ever experienced in a car. This is absolutely next-level. It is crazy. I'm going to Target. It is going to pull me into the Target parking lot. I really trust the car. I've taken it through stop lights, intersections, I mean it pulled out of my driveway. It's amazing."
When you have people like this starting to praise FSD, you're reaching an audience that just isn't that knowledge about this tech. Looking forward to Tesla's Q3 earnings report on Oct 21 to hear the latest FSD adoption rates/info. On the Q2 earnings call, Tesla said that they achieved record FSD attach rates in North America, with over 55% of new deliveries including FSD subscriptions.
Kelly's not on π, but you can check out her other Model Y L content here (including how well car seats fit in the Y L): youtube.com/@TheCarMom/shortβ¦

At 93, she got a self-driving Tesla
so she can keep her independence, and also get to church
Viral stage of FSD has officially begun
Jason Oppenheim, founder of Oppenheim Group ($5B+ in real estate sales), just sold his Bentley for a @Tesla Model Y and is so blown away by FSD that heβs buying Teslas for 10 employees:
"This is the most important video I've ever posted. Tesla's self-driving is life-changing. It's so safe. I was on the phone with my brother last night, and I made him buy one. He literally bought one while we were talking. I'm buying 10 of my employees a Tesla with FSD. It's 8x safer than the average driver. There's nothing more important than the safety of you and your loved ones. Let's make our communities safer. I hope you'll at least consider going and getting a test drive."
I've been saying for a couple months now that FSD has become a material driver of Tesla sales in North America. Some people said it's just been anecdotal evidence, but more and more videos and stories like this are popping up. It's not anecdotal anymore. Word is spreading fast. FSD is going mainstream.
Jason's full video linked in thread below.

FSD is better than being chauffeured in a Tolls π Royce or a Spentley.

We are officially in the future.
Three Falcons vertical in one day:
Crew-13 to the ISS
Transporter-18 with Google's space TPUs riding along
Falcon Heavy NROL-97 tonight.
This is what launch cadence looks like. $SPCX
Three Falcon rockets vertical at three of our launch pads in Florida and California β spacex.com/launches
Most people donβt realize how insanely autonomous Falcon 9 already is
Once Falcon 9 lifts off, almost the entire mission is executed by the rocket itself
And the crazy part is
This autonomy does not depend on generative AI
It comes from brutally refined flight software, physics, sensors, control theory and advanced optimization.....improved across hundreds of missions
Falcon 9 autonomously handles:
β Liftoff and ascent through closed-loop guidance
β Stage separation at precisely calculated conditions
β Engine ignition and shutdown sequences
β Orbital insertion and payload deployment
β Booster boostback, entry and landing burns
β Real-time guidance corrections during descent
β Landing on a floating droneship hundreds of kilometers offshore
β Autonomous flight termination if mission safety rules are violated
A 70-meter orbital rocket launches itself, separates itself, puts a payload into orbit.....then the first stage falls back through the atmosphere and lands itself on a floating platform hundreds of kilometers offshore
Physics, software, and hardware engineered to absurd precision
Falcon 9 is one of the greatest autonomous machines humanity has ever built
And SpaceX made it look routine
At Donut Derelicts today. This is Jeff from Pico Rivera with his freshly painted beautiful heavily modified 1973 VW Thing. Purchased 2 years ago you can tell this is a passion project. He personally has fabricated so many custom components from the bumpers, the wheels, inside door inserts to the custom Targa top.

New Jersey's got a serious case of Elon derangement syndrome. They're pushing a bill to block Tesla's camera-only robotaxis by forcing moronic radar and lidar, yanked Tesla Superchargers from Turnpike rest stops, and now they're trying to repeal Tesla's direct sales exception. Three attacks all aimed at Elon. Pathetic .

I desperately need to get a message to Elon....
If you can make that happen...please let me know.
Its a security issue.
