The mom of the little boy Caitlin sat with at the children’s hospital during the Iowa game wrote a touching message thanking Caitlin
“Thank you for being the bright spot during his darkest days.”

Just a reminder that the Kennedy Center was built with 3,700 tons of gifted white Carrara marble donated by the Italian government. Mined from the same area of the Tuscan Alps that supplied marble for Michelangelo’s David.
And one narcissistic man wants to destroy it

It’s weird to me that there could be anyone out there who hates Caitlin Clark. She doesn’t have mean bone in her body, she works hard, she is kind of nerdy (in a good way) and she loves the game.
She is a genuinely nice person.
Iowa nice is a real thing.

Trump: "I know more about inflation, I know more about everything than anybody in this room. Anybody anywhere in the world. Well, there's a woman sitting right over there. She's a housewife but she's very good. She got a natural instinct for business. She perhaps knows more than I do but I actually don't think so."

CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1965: 20-1
CEO-to-worker pay ratio in 1990: 75-1
CEO-to-worker pay ratio today: 325-to-1
Trickle-down economics was always a sham.
Nothing has ever trickled down.

CEO compensation has increased 1,316% since 1978.
And worker compensation? Just 28%.
The system is rigged. We need to start taxing the rich so they pay their fair share.
In light of Jack Smith’s testimony today, a reminder:
1. Donald Trump violently attacked the country on Jan. 6, 2021, while trying to overthrow the election.
2. He then retired to his dining room to root on the attack for three hours.
3. When it failed, he went on camera, and told the attackers that he "loved them."
He's a damn traitor, and this can NEVER be forgotten.

Total Wealth of Bottom 50% of U.S. households
1989: $317.8 billion
2026: $313 billion
Total Wealth of Top 0.00001% (20 households)
1989: $88.6 billion
2026: $4 trillion
This is insane!
We need a wealth tax on billionaires NOW!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Fed DFA: bottom 50% net worth was $4.28T in Q2 2026, not $313B (~14x too low).

A teacher earning $60,000 pays Social Security taxes on every dollar she earns.
A worker earning $184,500 does, too.
But someone earning $1 million pays the tax on just the first $184,500. Nothing more.
Yes, the country’s billionaires pay into Social Security as if they make $184,500.
That doesn’t make sense.
So I have a bill to eliminate this arbitrary cap on Social Security taxes.
If those with the highest incomes just paid the same share as everyone else, we could inject around $3 TRILLION into the program over the next 10 years.
I'm fighting hard to protect Social Security.

With ZERO regard for facts or the truth, the Jack Smith Senate Judiciary hearing was a fucking disaster for Republicans. What was supposed to be a pep rally for the pedophile president before the midterms instead showed the American people a gaslighting and grandstanding parade of poltroons and sycophants performing like circus monkeys for the TRAITOR in the Oval Office.
Jack Smith once again came across as exactly what he is — a man of the highest integrity, a serious prosecutor committed to the Constitution and the rule of law, and above all… AN AMERICAN PATRIOT.
