ANOTHER HISTORY LESSON ON YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY CARD: Just in case some of you young ones (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your family and friends. They need a little history lesson on what’s what and it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat or Republican. Facts are FACTS. Up until the 1980's, Social Security cards expressly stated the number and card were not to be used for identification purposes. Since nearly everyone in the United States now has a number, it became convenient to use it anyway and the "NOT FOR IDENTIFICATION" message was removed. Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. His promises are in black, with updates in brackets. 1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary [No longer voluntary], 2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual Incomes into the Program [Now 7.65% on the first $90,000, and 15% on the first $90,000 if you’re self-employed], 3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year [No longer tax deductible], 4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the general operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program [Under Johnson the money was moved to the General Fund and spent], and 5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income [Under Clinton & Gore up to 85% of your Social Security can be taxed]. Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a Social Security check every month — and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’ — you may be interested in the following: Q: Which Political Party took Social Security from the independent ‘Trust Fund’ and put it into the general fund so that Congress could spend it? A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the democratically controlled House and Senate. Q: Which Political Party eliminated the income tax deduction for Social Security (FICA) withholding? A: The Democratic Party. Q: Which Political Party started taxing Social Security annuities? A: The Democratic Party, with Al Gore casting the ‘tie-breaking’ deciding vote as President of the Senate, while he was Vice President of the US AND MY FAVORITE: Q: Which Political Party decided to start giving annuity payments to immigrants? A: That’s right! Jimmy Carter and the Democratic Party. Immigrants moved into this country, and at age 65, began to receive Social Security payments! The Democratic Party gave these payments to them, even though they never paid a dime into it! Now, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away! And the worst part about it is uninformed citizens believe it! If enough people receive this, maybe a seed of awareness will be planted and maybe changes will evolve. Maybe not, though. Some Democrats are awfully sure of what isn’t so — but it’s worth a try. How many people can YOU send this to?

The Tax System Explained in Beer Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this: - The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing. - The fifth would pay $1. - The sixth would pay $3. - The seventh would pay $7. - The eighth would pay $12. - The ninth would pay $18. - The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59. So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve ball.  "Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20".  Drinks for the ten men would now cost just $80. The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes, so the first four men were unaffected.  They would still drink for free.  But what about the other six men?  How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share? They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33.  But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage the poorer he was, to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using, and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay. And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% saving). The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3... (33% saving). The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7... (28% saving). The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12... (25% saving). The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18... (22% saving). The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59... (16% saving). Each of the six was better off than before.  And the first four continued to drink for free. But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings. "I only got a dollar out of the $20 saving," declared the sixth man.  He pointed to the tenth man, "but he got $10!" "Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar too.  It's unfair that he received ten times more benefit than me!" "That's true!" shouted the seventh man.  "Why should he get $10 back, when I got only $2?  The wealthy get all the breaks!" "Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison, "We didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!" The nine men surrounded the tenth man and beat him up. The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him.  But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important.  They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill! And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works.  The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore.  In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier. For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

🇺🇸 ONLY EIGHT DEMOCRATS! - Bill Maher did the math on his own party last night and it did not go well. Two Democrat congressmen, Tom Suozzi and Adam Gray, put out a pledge called Promise to America. Three lines. We are capitalist, not socialist. We want safety, not lawlessness. We are proud, not ashamed of America. That's it. That's the whole ask. Eight House Democrats signed it. Out of 212! Maher's punchline was that, "there has to be an easier way to lose the swing states!" Sit with that for a second. Two hundred and four members of Congress looked at "proud of America" and decided that was a bridge too far. Not a policy. Not a spending bill. A sentence. These are people who put their hand on a Bible and swore an oath to the country. Apparently saying you like it is where they draw the line. Maher also said his vote is in play. When you have lost the guy who has spent twenty years explaining Democrats to Democrats, the problem is not messaging. Eight out of 212. You cannot poll your way out of that.

When Obama visited China, he was forced to exit off the “ass” of Air Force One because they didn’t even get stairs for him. Trump just got a red carpet hero’s welcome with 300 students waving flags and chanting. It feels good to be respected on the world stage again 🇺🇸
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Obama visit referenced here was in 2016 for the G20 meeting in Hangzhou, not part of a state visit, hence the protocol is very different. When Obama did visit China on a state visit in 2014, the reception at the Beijing Capital Airport was of high level with red carpet etc. youtu.be/oaQX0Friry8?si…

Try going on Disney owned ABC and saying that Michelle Obama deserves to be a widow. Or Jill Biden. Or Hillary Clinton. You’d not only have your show canceled, you’d be banned from network media for life. And I’d agree with that. Because wishing death on a woman’s husband is an evil thing to do. No matter the politics. So why is it ok for @Disney owned @ABC to allow Jimmy Kimmel to wish death on Trump and his supporters time and time again? It’s not. It’s indefensible. Fire Jimmy Kimmel. Enough.

Greg Gutfeld just delivered the single most succinct and cutting indictment of the leftwing media's complicity in Saturday's WHCD attack: "This guy did hear voices. They were Ted Lieu's, they were Brandon Johnson's, they were CNN's, they were The View, they were MS NOW." "I think this is a helpful assassination attempt because it is the first one that shows you can be radicalized by liberal smugness." "He wasn't a crank. He was not deranged. Don't buy into that narrative ... He was just following orders." Greg nails it.

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out. Here's how it went: 1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14. 2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0. 3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5. It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops. Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID. I know you guys knew that already... lol
