BIG billionaire contributions need to be removed from our political system or at the very least reduced and limited in meaningful ways
Billionaire families have spent $1.7 BILLION on the 2026 midterms so far — a 5,200% increase since the 2010 midterms.
Citizens United is among the worst decisions in history. It corrupts our system every day.
Big Money is the root of our dysfunction.

Rolling into Dallas in the middle of the night, the band just so happened to have popped out a cassette and heard "Long Day" on the radio for the first time

Paul heard “3AM” for the first time in 1993 and knew right away that there was something there. It’s been in the set ever since.

Long before the arenas, there were rehearsals in a cheap RV trailer, back when nobody had any idea what was ahead.
This is fantastic 🙌
Just days after the Nashville Symphony suspended its 2026-27 season, technology industry behemoth Oracle has announced it will sustain the embattled nonprofit with a $10 million investment.

One day you're just a few friends from Orlando piling into a van to play for whoever shows up. The next, you're looking back on three decades of songs, stages, and memories you never could have imagined.
We've gotten to do this together for 30 years, and we still love it as much as we did when this band started. Maybe more. These songs started as ours and somewhere along the way they became yours too. We are only here because of that.
This isn't a finish line. It feels a lot more like a beginning. There's so much more on the way and we can't wait to share it with you.
To start the celebration, we dug through the Matchbox archives and resurfaced some live performances. Check them out at matchboxtwenty.com
With love and endless gratitude,
Rob, Paul, Kyle & Pookie

This is super fucked up. Random people who wish to sell tourism, or real estate or just an idea deciding what a country’s borders are in spite of the truth. Propaganda bought and paid for. An indoctrination of a generation by any means available
Why is the LA Times running a paid ad that erases Palestinian territory and shows the entire area from the river to the sea as Israel? xitter.cf/DropSiteNews/status/21…

Republicans, faced with terrible polling numbers and a historically unpopular war, are breaking with President Trump ahead of the midterms. “The problem is that it’s much, much harder for today’s G.O.P. candidates to flee from Trump after a decade of turning their party into a virtual cult of personality,” Susan B. Glasser writes. “Until now, Trump managed to keep his hold over so many politicians who might otherwise have broken with him because of his fervent MAGA base. . . . But now Trump is losing a crucial part of that base—a rapid and unexpected decline.” In her latest column, Glasser considers the war in Iran, the coming elections, and Trump’s unpopularity within his own party: newyorkermag.visitlink.me/aU…
I have heard others make this ridiculous and abhorrent claim too. The notion that Israel could just wipe them out if they REALLY wanted to so we should applaud their restraint 😵💫 Seriously?? As well as the idea that evidently despite the rubble and already horrific civilian death tolls, we should be unbothered because the Palestinian population is actually growing? So is the suggestion that the Palestinians have lives to spare?! WTF is wrong these people??
