The #Mariners payroll in 2017 was $160 million.
With a very basic (and generous) average U.S. inflation rate of 2.6%, which is probably less than what it is in baseball, their adjusted payroll for 2025 should be $197 million.
The fact they're projecting 150-155 is insulting.

Mount Vernon, WA 3B Xavier Neyens might have more raw power than anyone in the class. He could be a Top 10 pick. But could he end up in Corvallis instead?
And what's it like playing Call of Duty: Warzone with JULIO RODRIGUEZ?

Franchises let their fans down all the time. Heartbreak and disappointment are a part of sports.
What the Mariners have done this year to their fans this year disgraceful.
In 48 seasons it's the biggest example of their ineptitude that we have seen yet.
Just a flat out shame.

The #Mariners have the second worst record in baseball since their 10 game lead on June 18th.
Two months of being the second worst team in baseball, with the best rotation in the league.
Clean house.
