All you need to know about the breakup of Kimberly Guilfoyle and Don Jr is that Gavin Newsom is still the winner. 🇺🇸

a lot of people are saying the same thing why would anyone quit Twitter for a meta-owned app my answer People do crazy things when they’re desperate and have no viable alternatives. Zuck tying Threads to Instagram is smart Most people view instagram far more positively than it’s bad older brother Facebook And by tying threads to the Instagram’s 2+ billion user social graph to give new users a kickstart, addresses one of the biggest frustrations Twitter users are experiencing when trying to quit Twitter.. having to start from 0 some place new. The fact Meta has closely copied twitter’s UX / UI is intentional and strategically smart. Disgruntled Twitter users want to quit Twitter but not have to start from 0 somewhere else… and for their new home to feel familiar. And the timing for the launch is 👌 Elon has handed Zuck a gift with his rate limiting BS and paywalling tweetdeck. My bags are being packed… but I’ll leave a spare set of clothes here incase I don’t like the new place. – at Penarth, Wales

Fuck fireworks. They should be banned. It’s 💯 degrees in a county still recovering from fires 🔥 yet they’re going off all weekend around here & it’s only July 2 🤦‍♀️

Just was rate limited for a few hours. In that time I got to inbox zero, wrote 6 blog posts, went on a bike ride, pivoted a company, read 2 books, and learned Japanese. Rate limits will save humanity.

There we have it. President Biden just announced that he will be using the Higher Education Act to move forward with forgiving student loans & other actions for student loan borrowers. This is a president who cares about us. This is real leadership. This is great news.

BIDEN: "My program is too expensive? ... The average amount forgiven in the PPP pandemic loan program, the average loan amount forgiven was $70,000. Now, a kid making $60,000 trying to pay back his bills, asking for $10,000 of relief? Come on. The hypocrisy is stunning."
