I've been using OneNote as our scientific notebooks. It saves to OneDrive so students can prep experiments on their computers and then take pictures with their phones. It is also good for showing calculations and linking to someone else's experiment.
It took hard work and a lot of practice to get here, and they were a great group to mentor and support.
We had a great time at RI-SURS yesterday, and we appreciate the chance to show off what we’ve accomplished. Thanks to @RIINBRE @PCChemTweets @FriarBiology @EngageAtPC for supporting the work of Sean, Ethan, Naj, Frank, and Bobby this summer.
I had a great time at the Spring 2024 @AmerChemSociety meeting with our @PCChemTweets students!
It’s always great to end our @PCChemTweets summer research with the @RIINBRE Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium at URI - I had a great team of students and am looking forward to continuing this fall!
We had a great time at #NERM2023 !Congrats and thank you to @seannmulcahy for organizing a great meeting

Organized chaos as I try my first introduction of several #virtual reality headsets running @nanome_inc with #biochemistry students casting their views so others can see. Hopefully they have an appreciation of chymotrypsin, while I got my first student selfie!
It was great, and it is so much easier to navigate through a protein and point out specific things than out of VR or in 2D pictures! I showed them the slight pucker of the heme in deoxyhemoglobin, and then we made predictions on how residues help bind heme
Today in my #biochemistry class, I joined #chemistry @PCChemTweets major Francesca Lombardi '24 in a virtual room and explored a hemoglobin structure with the whole class watching. My first time using @nanome_inc to teach! Thanks to @PC_SPaRC and @RIINBRE for supporting this!
