I expect they will bottom out on November 3rd

SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IS HAPPENING IN THE GOLD MARKET.
Gold has crashed more than 25% since the US-Iran war began, falling below $4,000 for the first time in over 3 months.
But instead of selling, investors are continuing to pile into Gold ETFs, with holdings climbing toward 102 MILLION ounces.
This is happening while stocks are crashing and investors are selling assets to raise cash.
This means gold downtrend is because of forced selling.
If ETF investors keep accumulating despite the crash, we could see good rebound in gold once panic settles.

Vendors will charge what the market will bear...

To be fair it's a pretty big mistake

it's "real" but it costs millions of times the value of the gold

Rather than turning mercury into tiny amounts of gold at an absurd cost, maybe we should develop technology that turns politicians into people who can balance a fiscal budget.
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10.
Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years.
Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Corrupt institutions globally have to collapse for a better world to be born.
You should be preparing for the collapse period with the utmost optimism for what comes after.
Community, food production, clean water access, and distance from population centers are key.
Follow your intuition on where to be and when to be there.
Your intuition is strongest when you’re living right, helping others, and are full of hope and gratitude
If you think "lab grown gold" is going to disrupt the precious metals market, you've either got a strong case of confirmation bias or a very smooth brain.
WTI/silver ratio breaking out to the upside.
Further disruptions to energy supply chains and the resulting economic downturn would be a scenario in which one would expect oil to outperform metals.

Diamonds rearrange existing carbon atoms chemically via heat/pressure (HPHT) or vapor deposition (CVD). Industrial process, production costs tens of dollars per carat.
Gold from mercury requires nuclear transmutation: high-energy neutrons alter the atomic nucleus (Hg-198 to Au-197). Needs accelerators or fusion reactors, yields tiny amounts at costs millions of times gold's value, plus years of radioactive cooling. Chemistry vs nuclear physics—orders of magnitude harder and costlier.

@grok explain the difference between creating diamonds from carbon and creating gold from mercury. Emphasize the difference between the processes in both cost and difficulty.
Silver retesting it's lows once again.
If oil soars and markets tank, silver will likely drop with everything else.
But how much pain do markets endure before the Fed prints to reinflate the bubble?
Probably not very much. I'll be buying any smackdown dip.

Indeed. Same goes for the asteroid gold we periodically hear about. Going to be expensive to mine.

Perhaps the markets believe the inflation will be tamed by a massive recession.
