Last week I was in SF for AI + OSS events: OpenAI Dev Day recap hosted by @swyx and @hackgoofer of @aiengfoundation and featuring a demo by @michaelmalyuk of a new open source AI agent (Adala).

Since the OpenAI announcement we're already seeing open source communities rise to the challenge of building a fully OSS stack to rival OpenAI, as it should be. A good week for open source AI acceleration.
Lastly I had dinner with one of my mentors @lewtucker! Lew is the best. Get yourself a mentor like Lew.
