Rick Jackson’s fortune was too large for Georgia’s disclosure form. He entered $999,999,999.99 — apparently maxing out on the digits allowed. His campaign said his actual net worth tops $3 billion. #gapol
New financial disclosures this week show Republicans are by far the wealthiest candidates in the race for Georgia governor, led by Rick Jackson’s 10-figure fortune, Brad Raffensperger’s $91.9M filing and new details about Burt Jones’ family empire. #gapol ajc.com/politics/2026/04/the…

Attacking children and pregnant people is unconscionable.
By deleting a few imp words from the E&C bill, the reconciliation bill the Hse Rules cmte is likely to advance creates an unconscionable decision for states: end health coverage for lawfully residing immigrant kids & pregnant adults or face steep federal Medicaid $ cuts.

These moves to strip people of food and healthcare aren’t about anything other than greed.
Official CBO analysis confirms the obvious: House Republican tax and budget bill isn't shared sacrifice. It makes poor people poorer and rich people richer. It does this by cutting health care & nutrition to help finance tax cuts skewed to the wealthy.
