URGENT! Your help is needed! One of our supporters is being sued for defamation by a puppy farmer If she loses, she could lose her family home. 💔 Being taken to court is expensive. Can you chip in a few dollars? chuffed.org/project/fight-in…

"Grooming is not simply a haircut. Many dogs, cats and smaller animals require grooming to stop painful matting." In Parliament yesterday, @andymeddickmp continued his advocacy to get all pet groomers in #Victoria back to work.

Hey @DanielAndrewsMP, I’m now fully vacc’d, my dog groomer is the most Covid safe business I’ve been too during the entire pandemic, when can I get my dogs groomed??? 🙏🐾❤️ #istandwithdan but I need my dogs groomed 😭

Please @DanielAndrewsMP my dogs need grooming 🙏 I have far less contact dropping them to my groomer than I do going to Woolies!
In the paper today talking about how to avoid puppy farmers if you’re looking for a stay-at-home companion. (Clearly my rescue cavalier Greta had just heard about the lockdown protests when this photo was taken - huge mood) #COVID19Vic #COVID19nsw heraldsun.com.au/news/victor…

There’s a new warning for those wanting to buy a family dog, with dodgy breeders taking advantage of state lockdowns. There’s been a surge in buyers ending up with poorly bred and sick dogs. youtu.be/0vEXLV19bR0 @GeorgiaComensol #7NEWS

A pet shop selling designer puppies in one of Perth’s most prestigious suburbs has been linked to a puppy farm in New South Wales that last week was raided by the RSPCA for the second time in five years. #wanews #Perthnews watoday.com.au/national/west…

Puppy farm sting: Strawberry the boxer left to rot while her puppies were sold to Claremont pet shop

Bottom line here - @rspca_vic appears to be in a financially healthy state. It has a community-funded mobile vet unit, specifically intended for bushfires. It received this mobile unit after the Black Saturday fires. It’s currently in storage. Why? @7NewsMelbourne

The punishment for running an illegal puppy factory should be a deterrent - not a slight inconvenience. Especially for repeat offenders like Bert Cooke. To put it into perspective, this fine is the sale of one litter. mobile.abc.net.au/news/2018-…

Today Oscar’s Law vols campaigned in 8 marginal seats telling voters to #PutTheLiberalsLast. The Liberals lost almost all of them. The others too close to call. Victorians have sent a clear message. Our puppy farm laws are safe - and now will be rolled out in full. #vicvotes

The leadership of @JillHennessyMP and the @DanielAndrewsMP govt can not be understated when it comes to health ❤️. They inherited a broken, underfunded and overstretched health system and they turned it around in <4 yrs. This election, I urge you to put the Libs last. #springst
