Unfortunately we will not be at the event on its final day. The @Pacific_Airshow has been canceled due to the #OilSpill off the coast of Orange County. Follow @CalSpillWatch CDFW's Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR) for updates on this environmental disaster.

Continued improvement!
✅ Hospitalized Covid-19 patients down
✅ of-which-in-ICU also down.
405 C-19 deaths reported in the last 7 days; extrapolating from that, 15 days until 4,000th C-19 death — this represents a slight slowdown.

Hospital & ICU Covid-19 occupancy unchanged today.
Numbers generally look much the same as recent days.
That ain't good, but better than getting worse, I suppose.
Be safe, O.C.

As expected, California has extended its regional stay home order for Anaheim, Orange County and a large swath of our state. We remain under the order until a projection of ICU capacity reaches 15% or higher. See more at Anaheim.net/reopening.

More progress today on our mobile field hospital at @FVRMC. We wish this wasn’t necessary, but are glad this resource exists to support our health care system & their patients. Wash your hands, do not gather with other households, and wear a mask outside the home. #OCCOVID19

Just like every day for weeks now, each day sets new record for Covid-19 hospitalizations & ICU:
— 2,106 Covid-19 patients in hospital;
— of which, 473 in ICU.
Percent of tests positive (always volatile, to be fair) also up today.

Both are records, both, breaking a record set yesterday. Wave still cresting.
Percent of tests positive are volatile, on a day-to-day basis, but still high overall.
