For me, @quirkiesnft led by @RealPapii will always be home I came into the space in 2021, had some great times, big wins, huge losses, and honestly completely left the space in early 2025 It was too toxic, too many scammers, too many teams rugging after promising the moon with doctored PNL, fake runway funds, poor management and simple stupidity as “leaders” in the space I was done. I’d had enough. Then, came Papi and his acquisition of Quirkies. I decided to dabble a little bit and buy a couple quirklings trying to win a giveaway. Didn’t think much anything else about it. We got to talking about projects, blockchain, coins, but more importantly, life. He truly cared about how I was doing personally. That hit different. It sounds simple, but it’s very complex to actually care about more than your eth stack, your projects’ success, your bag, your wins, your losses. To care about others like they are family takes a special person. He had never even met me and talked to me like a brother. Didn’t matter if I held a Quirkie or not, that was never his goal. The goal was to connect to real people. Fast forward a couple months, quite a few Quirks later, hundreds of conversations, thousands of texts, hundreds of new people onboarded, and he asks me to be part of the advisory board. It was a simple yes for me. No question. I’m down. Now as we come up on a year of the acquisition and nearly a year since I bought my first Quirkie and I realize I have a problem. Too many Quirkie grails! But, in all seriousness, this is just a thank you to someone I consider a close friend and a brother. @RealPapii is truly the reason you ever see me on the timeline.
