At Stable Recovery, the mission is to provide a safe and stable living environment for men in early recovery. It is a peer-driven therapeutic community with a focus on equine-related employment opportunities. Stable Recovery is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help men and women who want to recover from alcohol and drug abuse.
Throughout this process they are enrolled in the 90-day School of Horsemanship at Taylor Made Farms where they learn the basics of taking care of a horse. When clients graduate the school Stable Recovery finds them full time employment in the industry with our strategic partners. They are in the program for a full year before they are considered a legacy graduate.
Stable Recovery has been open for 2.5 years and is at a pivotal growing stage where we will be able to reach many more people who need help in the coming years.

What a wonderful weekend at Stable Recovery! Our residents enjoyed canoeing, spending quality time together, and celebrating with fireworks. Moments like these remind us that recovery is about more than sobriety; it's about building meaningful connections.
Today, we celebrate four years of Stable Recovery!
We are incredibly proud of how far we've come and grateful for everyone who has been part of this journey.
Here's to four years of growth, hope, and recovery, and many more to come!

Seeing the results of hard work makes every step forward a little easier. We are so proud of our residents and the dedication they bring to their recovery. The connection they build with the horses is an added bonus that brings confidence, healing, and joy.

Our residents are putting in the work every single day on their recovery journey. They are learning new skills, building bonds, and creating strong foundations. Long days spent with the most beautiful creatures make the healing process even more meaningful.

If this moved you, consider being part of the work.
