A joyful social gathering for our incredibly gifted and dedicated Diocesan Digital Group today to share fellowship and thank them for all they have done in keeping @CopticDiocese connected over the past two years, during which they have facilitated ~10,000 online hours per month.

A joy to be with our @CopticDiocese St Barbaras Pre-Servants’ Training Programme this evening, listening to a wonderful presentation on the authenticity and impact of the #Resurrection, and then providing a short reflection on sharing the #hope of our Risen Lord with the world.

30 years ago today I was blessed to be consecrated a monk at the 4th Century monastery of Saint Bishoy by the late #PopeShenoudaIII, heralding the start a journey in the footsteps inspirational men and women who remain the foundation of religious life around the world till today.

None of us is above human vulnerability or brokenness, so they must never become a source of endless self-condemnation, but an opportunity to arise and rebuild. Through them we are also able to recognise, understand, and excuse where we can or must, the brokenness of others.

A beautifully uplifting Liturgy this morning at @St_Philopateer in #Risca, #Wales, having just recommenced prayers in Wales a week ago; after which I had a wonderful opportunity to pay a quick socially-distanced visit to Fr Philopatir, who was unable to attend. #DiolchYnFawr
