Primary 1 explored a new painting technique called pointillism to create beautiful Autumn pictures. We used cotton buds to carefully paint colourful dots for the leaves and further developed our fine motor skills by using them to paint the tree trunks 馃崅馃崄
This week we kicked off our new topic all about Autumn. We talked about the changes we see outside and had lots of questions about hibernation! We explored ways to create habitats for animals and P1 were keen to make houses using kapla, Lego and spaghetti and marshmallows 馃専

Primary 1 played a fun literacy game today 馃専 They danced around their tables then when the music stopped found a word, read it and coloured it in. Lots of learning, movement and happy dancing and singing 馃専
I challenged P1 to a game of Connect 4 with a twist! They had the added challenge of reading the word on the row they chose before they could choose that space! I lost 馃檨 They were just too good at this game and reading CVC words 馃専
Primary 1 came together to pray the Rosary today. We took a quiet moment to reflect, share our prayers and grow in faith as a class. This lovely boy led us in prayer beautifully 馃専馃檹馃徎
Reading and building sentences is super fun! This little star challenges himself to complete each sentence from his reading book 馃専
