Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins has visited @StItasPS in Belfast to view new road safety measures around the school.

📹 Key features of the proposals at @StItasPS in Belfast included the installation of brightly coloured pencil bollards, and a new pedestrian crossing 🚦🚗
We visited the school in October, to hear what the pupils thought about the new infrastructure, and to help ensure they stay safe when out walking, wheeling or cycling #ActiveTravel #LittleChanges

Throughout 2025 we’ve been working with @StItasPS in Belfast developing proposals aimed at reducing inconsiderate parking and encouraging more pupils to build #activetravel into their journey to school 🚶🏻♂️🚲🛴🚶♀️
📹 Over the next few days, we’ll be sharing videos to show how the project started early summer, and how it’s going now!

Great to host a group of School Cllrs from @StItasPS today . Very interesting ideas for new Bills including App trackers for people who litter, limiting time spent on Internet & 4 day school week. Great fun 😊

When I was a slightly awkward & lost teenager, it was at @YouthLyricNI where I found friends and my confidence. I’m delighted they’ll be one of my charities of the year ⬇️
