We're honoured to share Mark's story - a taxi driver working this Christmas and donating the fares to St Giles 🧡 Marks supports us after the care we provided to his late wife, Lynette, and the bereavement support he later received. Read his story: buff.ly/3HVj4Mt

My penultimate morning at @StGilesHospice was spent in the community working with learning disability group @F2Friends. Our final reflective session on grief/loss ended with an exercise that enabled the group to create a six line poem about Friends2Friends. They are all stars!

We will miss you Ian. Thanks for everything you have done and for sharing your personal story with so many people over that 9 years and helping many more people than you could imagine. Let’s see how the Help Points continue but that’s one legacy you should be so very proud of.

After just over 9 years I've decided it's time to leave St Giles. Such amazing work with some incredible people who taught me so much. From developing our Bereavement Help Points to taking my Understanding Bereavement training into workplaces and the community . . . (1/2)

I finish on the 27 October. I haven't another role lined up, so life is both scary and exciting, but sometimes you have to do what you feel is right and see where life takes you! Please feel free to follow me on my new account @IanBakesnBikes

Glad it went well Matt. Saw the queues outside the Pirelli pre run! I also want to say thanks, cycling on traffic free roads between Stretton and Rolleston before the run started yesterday was a dream 👍
