ALT StFX psychology is hiring student class assistants 2024-2025. Five upper-year psychology students will be hired to work as student class assistants in psychology 101/102. You will be asked to attend lectures and assist the professors with various in-class activities and host tutorials each week. You will be expected to work five hours per week. Lab assistants will work alongside our lab instructors for up to five hours per week. If interested, please contact psychology@stfx.ca for an application. ALT The Used Laptops for StFX Students Program is a new collaboration between the Students’ Union and StFX IT Services. We’re selling used laptops to StFX students for $60. There is also an optional research study for us to better understand the impact of this new program on academic achievement, sense of belonging, and financial wellbeing. Students don’t have to participate in the research to be eligible to purchase a laptop. If you are interested, fill out the form (link in post). You will be contacted with more information. You can also call 902-867-1641 to indicate you are interested. There is a limited supply of laptops. If the number of applicants is greater than the number of laptops, we will randomize the list of applicants to select who is offered a laptop to purchase.
