A huge thanks to @Sloughrfc for having us at this year's Wynford Phillips Rugby Festival. Our team thoroughly enjoyed the event which was very well organised. 🏉🏆
What a cracking day yesterday at our annual Catholic Schools Sports Festival. Brilliant competitive netball & football played by our Year 6s & all our visitors, with our girls landing the netball prize & @stanthonyslough winning the football🏆 Thanks for the refs @StBernardsCGS

We love Maths - Pi - and actual pie here @StBernardsPrep - with a trophy for whoever gets furthest in the digit game + pie as a reward! Just one of the ways our Head of Maths Sarah Whittaker makes maths fun & keeps children challenged! #PiDay2023 bit.ly/40alZXH
Happy Sign Language Week! We’re starting young with signing - so lovely to see our little ones in Early Years using their excellent skills - communication is everything! #BSL #SignLanguageWeek
Big thanks @sloughobserver for our spangly ad - still time for those who haven’t booked to get in touch & join our student-led tours next Tues eve & Weds morning. bit.ly/3Ju42gZ #IndependentSchools #SundayTimesParentPower #BestInBerks #OpenEvening
ALT An advert from the local newspaper the Slough Observer shows one child whispering to another - the advert says ‘Come visit us’ and gives details of an open evening and open day event
It’s nearly time for our Open Events - where our student guides share what lights them up! You can still book by heading to @StBernardsPrep bit.ly/3KJ0oRF We’ll see you for @RedfernElec #Crumble very soon. #Coding #ComputingKids

Working in Early Years brings new adventures every day as our children & teachers flourish and learn new skills. We caught up with Early Years teacher Laura to find out how @StBernardsPrep shaped her career journey - & why she'd tell others to join us!

ALT Laura is sitting in her classroom on a blue chair with a boy showing her his favourite toy. The carpet is brightly coloured and other children sit listening to Laura and her pupil speak about their favourite toys.
And the crowd went wild! Some fantastic photo action from @Photoday_Group from @StBernardsPrep U9s football festival. A day of sunshine, samosas, smiles and smashing shots! #Football #Soccer @iapsuksport #ThisGirlCan
Don’t worry bee happy 🐝 like our year 3’s after their fab trip to @UKBayer where they enjoyed using beeswax to make their own lip balms 💋 & learning all about the different types of bees & honey 🍯
We couldn’t keep the news under our hats any longer! If you’re looking for a school with strong academic support that enables children to become curious, confident & caring then look no further. bit.ly/3KJ0oRF
Fantastic to have you along! See you again next year 😄
Well done to all the boys who represented at the @StBernardsPrep football tournament yesterday. B team finished runners up in their group and the A team Won! #football #thorpesport
Turrets, towers, drawbridges, ramparts, dragons, battles, motte & bailey - all part of the fun when learning about the history of castles! Some fearsome, fancy and fabulous cardboard creations made by our children @StBernardsPrep #History
It’s coming home! From playground to pitch we’re football crazy here @StBernardsPrep & can’t wait to welcome worthy opponents from @Herries_School @Beacon_School @thorpehousesch & @clairescourt to our U9s Football Festival this weekend. @iapsuksport
Looking for something fun to do? Run run run along to our free parent and tots session tmrw and get to know @StBernardsPrep #ToddlerGroup
Our pupils munched through nearly 300 pancakes for their Shrove Tuesday lunch here @StBernardsPrep today - & they’ll learn more about the story behind the sweet treats & Ash Wednesday tomorrow in a special service marking the beginning of Lent.
#PancakeDay #ShroveTuesday
This time next week we'll be run run running as fast as we can as part of our gingerbread man themed play session at Little St B's. Free for parents and tots aged 0-5, why not come along and join us? #StBernardsPrep #EarlyYears #ToddlerGroup#WhatsOnInSlough
