Even with Fred back and the addition of Marcus Smart I asked Ime if Reeds shooting makes it a necessity that he is still part of the rotation. “Yes, Reed will be a huge part of what we do.”

Steven Adams Stats
@funakistats23h
Ime Udoka just confirmed that Steven Adams won’t have a minutes restriction to start the season Back to backs will be the only restriction Expect 20+ minutes from game 1 if he’s managed to knock the rust off through the pre-season ramp-up

FRANCE: Rioters have set fire to the historic City Hall in Limoges, France, causing its roof to burn and its clock tower to collapse. Built in 1883, the 143 year old landmark survived 2 world wars and was designated a protected historical monument in 1975. It’s gone now.

7 seconds or less, Alpi already has the ball with Wide Away split-action leaving OKC on their heals, dropping for fear of multiple things, when all it is is an Fred/Alp inverted PnR. This is the benefits of Ime's uptempo mandate. Defense must stay focused as a group covering several things early in the clock, breathing renewed power into one of a bread-n-butter plays. Fred/Alp inverted PnR

Another "hidden" Spain PnR. The STS of Spain this time is out high, making it a Flair screen, converting to our standard Fred/Alp high pnr. bottomline: Spain out high with a flair gets D moving, thus weaponizing our Fred/Alp high pnr, rather than telegraphing it.

21-Delay again. Dual split action. You here OKC calling out "Pistol", like I said last video. 🤓 Here's The Alp Spin when defense overplays the DHO. You *cannot* cheat on Alpi's DHO; he will spin on you for a slam. Remember my warning last game. See comments, for that vid it.

21-Delay with dual split action, both strong & weak side. This demonstrates one of my pet-peeves, Alpi missing the slip-man of a switched split action, due to favoring himself & KD instead. A pre-determined read is *not* read and react, by definition 🤓 Slips are there to keep the D honest. Gotta use them or defense cheats on you.

Udoka utilized Marcus Smart as a PnR screener a ton in Boston. Watch him ghost screen for FVV, slip into the paint, and immediately turn it into a Gortat screen on his own defender. The seal walls off the defense & creates an open driving lane to the rim
