Just to give u an idea-Jantar Mantar is 1.4 km from the Parliament whereas the new site at Burari is about 15.5 km away from it. Worldwide a protest site is always near the centre of the city as a protest without visibility means nothing. When the Govt with the NGT’s intervention wanted to close down Jantar Mantar, the Supreme Court had in Mansoor Kishan Sangathan’s case prohibited that. Without a review of the said judgement, I doubt the government could have shut down JM falling back on Tau’s sage advice in some order during a course of a hearing where the situs of the protest was never an issue!

Preventive arrest u/s 126/170 BNSS of Sh. Abhijeet Dipke, Sh. Ashutosh Ranka and Sh. Saurav Das was done on 10.10.2026. All due legal procedures were followed and they were produced before the SEM Court, Delhi Cantt on 11.10.2026.
A bail bond as Surety Bond of ₹50,000/- was filled for maintaining peace and good behaviour, for a period of one year, and they were released by the SEM Court.

BUT fact is, he is still in detention. No clarity on where he is, when he will be released, why was he picked up by the police from an airplane in the first place when he hadn’t broken any law. Doesn’t Abhijit Dipke @abhijeet_dipke and many other young people like him have the same rights as every Indian citizen? 🙏
