End of an era, but the start of something even bigger. Today, Gemini CLI will stop serving requests for Google AI Pro, Google AI Ultra, and free tier individual accounts as we transition over to the Antigravity CLI!
It started with weekly Gemini CLI updates and grew to be bigger than I ever thought it would. I’m deeply grateful for the community, the code, and the absolute ride of the past year. Thank you all so much!!
Next stop: Antigravity SDK. Stoked to keep building with you all there and will be sharing more in the coming weeks! 🚀🚀🚀

An update: we’re 3xing the rate limits for Gemini models across all paid tiers in Antigravity and resetting everyone’s Gemini quota for the week.
We understand some people hit their rate limits quickly and wanted to respond fast. Lots more to come and enjoy building!

Transitioning Gemini CLI users to Antigravity CLI
We are unifying our efforts around a single harness and platform, Google Antigravity with four distinct surfaces:
• Antigravity 2.0
• Antigravity CLI
• Antigravity SDK
• Antigravity IDE
This will allow us to move faster and give you a streamlined experience wherever you do your best work.
Rebuilt in Go for speed, Antigravity CLI is available today and brings robust multi-agent orchestration and asynchronous workflows to your terminal.
Important things to know:
1. If you are using Gemini CLI through your Google one account (Google AI Pro or AI Ultra) or through Gemini Code Assist for individuals (free offering) we will be helping you migrate your workflows over the next 30 days.
2. No action required for Enterprise users. Enterprise plans and API keys will continue to be supported in Gemini CLI.

Great post from our community, while it really depends on far one has to go on sandboxing, for many uses cases all of this makes a ton of sense.
Stop hand-holding your AI agents! 🤖 Run Gemini CLI in "yolo mode" safely with a custom Docker sandbox and limited permissions. 🛡️

Compact Header/Logo in Gemini CLI 🎨
Do folks prefer this alternate compact header vs. the previous larger "GEMINI" ASCII art?
I could see a world where we keep both. Show the GEMINI header on first startup in a new project then the compact header on all subsequent launches...
