🧊 Our PreK3 archaeologists had a great time excavating these frozen icy dinosaur eggs! They used droppers with warm water and other tools to melt the ice. All their eggs hatched cool dinosaurs that they were able to take home! 🦖

Mrs. Sparks' UPK friends have been busy learning about the life cycle of butterflies. The excitement of watching their caterpillars grow, build a chrysalis, hatch, and slurp up some sugar water was no match for watching them fly through the open sky in Lyndonville! 🦋🤩

First graders brought learning and literacy outside last week with word ladders and a decoding path game! A great way to learn while answering the common warm-weather question: 🙋🏻♂️ "Can we have class outside?!" ☀️📝

Last week, Mrs. Thompson's kindergarten class listened to "The Lorax". They created their own "How To Plant a Tree" books by writing a page each day. They then read to each other the books that they wrote and illustrated. Great job to our talented Kindergarteners!
Thanks to @ccecornell and @Orleans4H for partnering with us!

Throughout February, our third graders read about how people in our history used their talents to help people. The unit ended with a third grade talent show! Some talents included playing guitar, gymnastics and stand-up comedy! We have some very talented third graders!

For the past few weeks, our third graders have been reading about animal adaptations. The unit ended with guest speaker, DEC Officer Vern Fonda. Officer Fonda taught third graders more information about animals, and even brought some exciting props!
Thanks @JenniferTrupo and @RobertsWesleyan! 🎶
