Why would a gov't deliberately set out to harm its country? Well, it's what rich Russians did in the 1990s. And they bought up assets cheap, then sold them dear, and made the richest people in the world.

Some on Twitter (and in the Mail editorial team) seem to have forgotten the vital role of the court jester in times of old. Speaking truth to power in a way no one else could they shone a light on the pretentiousness of those in power. That's why we definitely need them now.

No, Edwina. Despite the name, radiators don't actually heat much by radiation, they heat by convection, so a reflector will do nothing at all.
“Here’s my tip, put some of this behind your radiators…” 🤯 Former Tory MP Edwina Currie has a solution for families struggling to afford energy bills: silver foil. These people live on another planet. #EnoughlsEnough

Entirely correct. 'Gin' comes from the the Netherlands, and is a daily reminder of how the Dutch invasion of Britain in 1688 deposed our King James II to put their Willem Hendrik on the English throne. foodsofengland.co.uk/gin.htm

We talked about how and why Glyn started up the project, why British food has gained its bad reputation, tripe and tripe restaurants, the bizarre chicken dish Hindle Wakes, beef Wellington, fake tea, Chorley cakes, Bakewell pudding + more!

According to the Guardian ‘GPs could write prescriptions for money off energy bills for the most vulnerable under a plan drawn up by the Treasury’. Let’s just think about that for a moment. A thread….

This becoming PM lark is easy isn't it? If elected I will make sure everyone has good things and I'll stop bad things happening. And you can trust me to deliver because you can trust me to deliver. And everyone lived happily ever after. The end.
