I'm a marketing genius, so I announced this right before a US holiday, but the Steam store page for SpyParty is up! As it says on the page, it will be available for purchase Soon™

In the meantime, here's our fancy new trailer cut:
Finally got the SpyParty Competitive Casts pipeline working again from twitch to the youtube channel, so should be daily casts posting each morning for a while (we have a big backlog from 10 months). Thanks to the amazing community for these!

Does anybody who follows me work at Google or YouTube and care about games or know somebody who does? There is no way to set the game with the YouTube Data API, and their algorithmic game detection is incredibly broken. Help?
I finally got competitive cast uploads working to youtube again, so we should start moving through our backlog of Winter Cup '22 and SCL7 casts now. If you've got notifications turned on, you should have gotten this one, let me know if it didn't go out!

Do any of you work at discord or know somebody moderately technical there? I'm having some trouble getting some reproducible bugs past your tier 1 tech support people (who are all very nice at least!) and it'd be good to be able to get these bugs to some PM there with a clue.
Does anybody who reads this stream on youtube? I'm thinking about extending the @SpyPartyStreams notifier to include youtube streams, but people don't seem to set the Game very often? If you stream on youtube, do you set the game? If not, why not?
SpyParty Winter Cup signups are open until January 1st, so if you're quarantining in your igloo itching to play some competitive matches, see the details in this discord post: discord.com/channels/8313820…

Been playing @SpyParty with @reinardtesoro on his streams a lot. Figured it needed the @animalcrossing treatment
Absolutely love these slowcasts @Slappydavis does, tons of in-depth analysis with tons of replay rewinding and discussion with chat, live right now for I don’t know how much longer:

The digital shoebox full of old photos is almost empty. Here is Day of the Devs 2016, a fun little local Bay Area show hosted by @DoubleFine and @iam8bit: spyparty.com/2021/09/12/day-…
The SpyParty time machine has arrived at PAX 2018! If you were there and I caught you, let me know!

We remain at 55/45 spy/sniper win rate over all games (this is over the past 30 days). I need should segment this by skill level since upper levels it should flip to sniper biased with the meta right now, but it's always fun to see.
Now I'm only living 4 years in the past! Here are the PAX 2017 pics, the first year I playtested the fancy SpyParty interactive tutorial!

The first SpyParty blog post in almost two years and it's the pictures from PAX 2016 (finally)! I'm so good at social media! If you were at PAX 2016 and visited the booth, let me know if I caught you in the comments!

The SpyParty Summer Cup 2021 signups are open until Friday! The Cup is the longest running SpyParty tourny, starting before the invention of the printing press, but obviously long after SpyParty entered beta shortly after the dinosaur extinction event. forms.gle/XysZTMe5YNsCpypm8
I updated some server stuff last night and didn't notice that I'd broken lobby login for new purchases on Steam...oops. Presumably if you bought the game you'd like to be able to log in. Should be fixed now, let me know here or on discord if you still have problems. Sorry!
