Tesla doesn’t care about the competition because it’s always been ahead of it. Tesla could have a 600 mile range car if it wanted, but why would you do that when you own the largest charging network in the globe. You have to understand that people aren’t buying Tesla’s because it’s the best EV, it’s the best car period. The Model Y has continued to be the best selling car in the world year after year, why hasn’t a BYD or an E-tron? The United States buys less cars every year than Europe and Asia but you can get a BYD in those markets. Full Self-driving is the reason absolutely no one will buy anything other than a Tesla in the near future. Trust me, I worked there for 8 years, I know what I’m talking about.
