Jeff Cobb recalls WWE telling him he’ll wear face paint like he did in Japan, which he never did:
"Paint [was more annoying to wrestle in than a mask] because I'd never done that before. Although to be fair, l'd never done the mask thing before, but the paint was truly different. I was told, ‘You’re gonna wear the paint like you did in Japan,’ and I never wore paint in Japan. I think they got me confused with somebody else.”
