Our sweet boy Scout passed away suddenly today. He has been part of our family since 2019, and we are absolutely heartbroken. Please keep my son in your prayers. He loved Scout so much. 🐾❤️

Meet our newest family member... his name is Scout. He slept in my bed last night. He managed to get stuck between the bottom of the mattress & the bed. I've been awake since 1 am. 😂 Poor guy was belly up. FYI, he didn't get hurt. He was wagging his tail after I rescued him. 💜

Unconfirmed reports are circulating that dictator Kim Jong Un has died & that his tyrant sister, Kim Yo Jong, has taken control. Nothing has been officially confirmed at this point. No. People could faithfully obey God’s Law, but no one except Jesus ever lived without sin. No one on this earth can claim that they are without sin. Ecclesiastes 7:20 makes that clear. The Law was not the problem. Our sinful nature is per Romans 8:3. That is why we need God’s grace.

My four year old granddaughter and I were watching a program about Jesus on television. When she saw Jesus, she said, “ I want Jesus to hold me.” All I could think of at that moment was “Me too, baby, me too.” Out of the mouths of babes.

The rich young ruler thought he had kept all the commandments too, until Jesus pointed out one area where he fell short. Just because we think we’re keeping God’s Law doesn’t mean we actually are. We all fall short, whether we realize it or not. It’s why we all need Jesus.

I think I’ve told you before that the overwhelming majority of pretrib believers do not consider this a salvation issue. I’ve been told by both some prewrath and posttrib believers that I’m deceived and not saved, but I seriously doubt that everyone who holds those views feels the same way.

I I think baby dedication has biblical merit, but I don’t believe it’s something we are required or commanded to do. I will say, though, that of our three sons, the only one we dedicated has served the Lord his entire life. Thankfully, my two oldest sons have come to know the Lord as well, but they sure gave us a run for our money during their teenage years! 😂
