The highest number of active developers since January 2023, signaling a strong comeback.
Total Devs Up
A 20.6% increase in total developers compared to December 2024, showing a fantastic start to the year.
Growth Across the Board
All levels of developer activity are up, including low-active (+19.9%), mid-active (+25.4%), and high-active (+19.3%) developers.
Commit Surge
Total commits jumped by 19.7%, reversing the downward trend seen in 2024.
Experienced Devs
Senior developers (2+ years) are leading the charge, with all developer activity levels rising, indicating a strong and mature ecosystem.

Cairo Native Execution: Starknet's Cairo-native execution is in implementation, boosting performance and cutting costs. Benchmarks have shown an average speedup of 5x over the Cairo VM, with gains ranging from 1.5x to 20x, depending on the contract.
Staking V2: Planned for launch in Q2 2025, focusing on testing validators and incentives.
Stwo Integration: StarkWare's new STARK prover, Stwo, is expected to reach mainnet in Q1 2025.
