In 2019 I qualified for a ‘good for age’ place in the London Marathon. Covid delayed my entry until this year. I’m using my place to raise money for Breast Cancer Now a charity that has helped support my wife through a challenging last 6 months. 1/2

Such a sad and scary statistic. Girls aren’t born hating PE, these are feelings that develop over time from negative experiences and socialisation. Can’t help but think we need to do more to protect them from following this pattern - what we are currently doing isn’t good enough
